I know The Black Cauldron is not a perfect movie, but that doesn't mean I can't enjoy it and get something out of it!
I think audiences are still open to fantasy. Seems some may have been put off by the recent Rings Of Power (personally I have not seen it yet), however people will still have the enthusiasm for a fantasy piece done well.
There is that! I think Fantasy could as well make a come back at one point!

I guess in talking about fantasy, I think there was a time when it seems to have fallen out of favor.
Then I wonder if it is possible for anyone to write fantasy in this day. I've mentioned in a thread that anyone could probably write a children's fantasy (maybe even something similar to Narnia where children travel from our world to another because I'm sure there's a lot you can do with that) where our world is set during this day.
I think there's so much that an author can do with fantasy.
