[Closed] Narnian Music

Several years ago, after reading “Voyage of the Dawn Treader,” I was inspired to write a song based on Reepicheep's yearning to travel to Aslan's country at the end of the world.

I recently pitched the song, "Eastward," to Twentieth Century Fox hoping
they would pick it up for use in the movie... but alas it was not meant to
be.

You can have a listen here: http://www.nickmilos.com/music.htm

Hope you enjoy!

Oh. My. Gosh. That's you?! You sung and wrote that?! How could they turn that down? Loveley songs are they dowloadable? Or buyable somewhere? Glad you posted on here. I really like the music and the voice. Well done!

That was incredible! The music is soft, yet beautiful, and allows the lyrics to be the main focus. The repeated use of traveling eastward really did remind me of Reepicheep's longing. Musically, I especially liked the part that started around 2:50. :-bd

Maybe Fox turned it down because Reepicheep's eastward yearning had much less focus in the movie than in the book... :|

Thanks, and it was odd that the eastward theme of the book was not emphasized in the movie. But I did enjoy it nonetheless.
