Okay, okay, I hopped onto the bandwagon and decided to throw together some quick VDT avvies, possibly to use them. But then, I figured I'd share them with ya'll too, even if they are pretty horrific.

In the second one I couldn't help show off my awesomesauce sky...although it really does make one stare, a ship without a sail. #5 is my personal favorite. #6 is just to show you what the original sky looked like, and I didn't even bother to add the sail. Not even sure what I did in #7. And the last one's a pretty shabby one Caspian/Mr. Clean/Edmund...just to experiment with some lighting stuff.

If you want, you can use with credit. All and any tips/comments are super appreciated!

I've been trying to stay clear of this topic for fear that I shall certainly stumble upon some spoiler pictures, but I at last succumbed to venturing in here to post some avies of my own. I only used pics from the main VDT trailer which I have allowed myself to see. Thankfully this page does not appear to have any really spoilerish pics, so I have been spared!

Now for some comments:

pg.67:

Eustace+Jill: 'ello there! I really love your avies, EJ! I like the effects you used on them are great. They all have a nice mystical feel to them! My favorites are #2 & 7! I really, really like the coloring on #7..the pink and purplish sky looks amazing with the Dawn Treader sailing on the horizon! Lovely!

Wunderkind_Lucy: Those are great! In the second one with Susan, I like how you emphasized the goodbye by making it a different color than the rest of the text. In the third one with Caspian, I like the castle background with that picture. It works very nicely.

humdedum: Hummy! Your Dawn Treader ship avies are very nice! I like how you applied different effects to each one and the setting sun behind several of them is a great touch! My favorites are: #2, 6, & 7! I especially love the coloring on #7... the colors of the sky are beautiful and the light coming from behind the ship reminds me of Lilliandil's star guiding them!

campgirl: Very, very lovely batch! I love all the ones from the VDT premiere. The 3rd one of Georgie is my favorite of those because of the sharpness of the image, the angle, and the coloring! My other favorites are: #'s 5,6,& 7! I particularly love the one of Aslan...it's beautiful how he is in the center and the lighting seems to radiate from him!

Kate: I'm loving the 1st one of Eustace as the dragon! The bright colors, the positioning of the picture, and the text are perfect! I also like the black & white ones of Caspian...the patters behind him add a nice depth to the avies!

@ WunderLu, I actually wrote down what I did for #6-8 so that tutorial won't be a problem at all! I'll have it up sometime soon. I might be able to do one for #4, but I shall have to see.
