I'm a bit of a concept art freak, and in our recent news drought I started looking over some of the concept art from the first two films. There are a lot of great peices on all subjects, which got me wondering...what are y'alls favorite concept pieces from the Narnia films? I'd love to see what you post!
To get started, here's one of my favorites, by John Dickenson, of Lucy walking in the woods in PC:

PS, if you dear mods would please move this if it isn't in the right place.
I Love Concept art, it’s what I would Love to do for a living!
I’ve been hooked on it since I saw The Lord of the Rings movies when I was ten!
It’s really hard for me to choose just one, because so many artists do concept so many different ways , but I think my favorite right off the top of my head has to be:
Lucy and Aslan together in PC:
I really Love the colors and Justin Sweet did great at capturing the friendship between Lucy and Aslan!

This one speaks of wonders not yet revealed:

My personal favorite! Not, of course, that I've seen half of the Narnia concept art available for viewing!

I loved the concept art of Lucy in the magician's hallway for VDT. I Also love the Ramandu's Island concept art, it's beautiful. I can not wait to see how the art is transformed to film.

Did anyone see that quickly-removed, very early, concept art for VoDT? I don't remember who did them, but some of the pieces of Aslan and Aslan's Country were my absolute favorites yet. Pity they're gone now.
I know this topic isn't doing so hot, but here's another (from PC):

My sister (who doesn't like Narnia) saw this and commented on how pretty it was. It's likely an abandoned concept; I'm certain that's Caspian there, but what he's doing I'm not sure. When in the story is this? Where do the stairs go?

I actually saved all of those removed pictures before they were removed , they are very beautiful, I’d post them but since they were asked to be removed I don’t think I should.
I also Love that picture from PC!

Good call.
Ok, I don't know if this is my favorite piece or not, but it's definitely one of the pieces that pops into my head immediately when I think of Narnia concept art. And I do absolutely LOVE it.

I've never seen that one fantasia_kitty. I like that concept better then what was shown in the movie now. Instead of the wardrobe being mystical so is the entire room. It makes me feel more excited by looking at it. Thank you for posting it!

It may appear odd, but while I definitely love all concept art (it is so thrilling to see it, in all it's glory of intense colors and tugging at your imagination, snatching it away into dance of suppositions and wondering and 'what ifs', and always gives me a boost to create some of my own concept art), and especially adore the "Prince Caspian" ones best for some reason, I have several favorites, most of them with Caspian (my favorite character is both books AND film/s), one of my ultimate favorites is this... I think...

I just love the calm, the details, the warm game of light and colors... beautiful perspective and delightful design, makes me feel like going to that place and seeing it in reality
Next, my other top-top-top favorite (I've got three equal favorites, yeah...) is this:

I love it, it is so beautiful and enchanting, a quiet moment of stillness and neutral apprehension, awaiting as Caspian stands tall on the rock and looks out for the creatures emerging from the mists, the way two hopes meet - him being the hope of Narnians and the Narnians being his hope. I'm sorry if I'm beginning to sound pathetic, but I really feel that way.
And lastly, my favorite concept art landscape:

Simply beautiful, no?
fantasia kitty, I adore the Wardrobe one, though I always though just a dash more details would be nice, but I love it anyway, with the mysterious feeling it has!
ChristProclaimer, oh, that is breathtaking! I've never seen this one! Oh, gosh, it goes right into my favorites, absolutely stunning! I love the magic of urgency and the mystery, the ancient steps... could it be an abandoned concept of Caspian coming to Cair...?
Anyway, I'm so very happy this thread was made, it gives everyone an opportunity to catch some more concept art!
I've seen the movie 9 times!!! (PC)
I've seen the movie 7 times!!! (VoDT) And loved it!

I found some other concept art (by several artists) which suggests the tree through which the Pevensies step back to England was originally at the Dancing Lawn. My best guess is that Caspian is...er, exploring the Dancing Lawn after his arrival, and decides to check out the magical tree. Possibly Trufflehunter is guiding him.
I absolutely love the first picture you posted of Telmar Beginte! I never saw it till now, this really is an awesome forum to come to and see some art I never knew existed.

Your definitely not being pathetic , at least not in my book!
I feel the exact way! Narnia has a lot of meaning in it, to me!
I Love the concept art you’ve posted, I forgot about some of them.

ChristProclaimer, hmm, I see... Indeed, it sounds like it could be the Dancing Lawns, but the stairs don't give me a rest... They openly hint at a massive construction, forgotten and ancient, hence my idea of Caspian coming to Cair Paravel in some abandoned concept. Or, I know! It could be Aslan's How! Though it appears in the middle of the forest, while both book and film show it on a glade, but concept art often omits such details... anyway, whatever it may be, it definitely is breathtakingly beautiful and inspiring... I think I'll write a fic connecting to that picture!
DamselJillPole, I'm glad you like it! Oh, I know, I feel just the same, I just loved looking through this thread and picking out and saving all concept art I don't yet have!
7chronicles, glad to hear it! Yes, to me Narnia has many meanings as well, not all of them centering on religious hints, and I just love feeling them as I read or watch, or look at images such as that one

This is probably my favorite piece of concept art of Aslan's How. It's by Dorotka Sapinska.
fantasia kitty, I adore the Wardrobe one, though I always though just a dash more details would be nice, but I love it anyway, with the mysterious feeling it has!
It was the complete lack of detail that made me fall so in love with it. The kind of room that you'd look into and think "eh, nothing here" and leave... except for Lucy.
I don't know if it's my favorite, but the wide shot of the stone table is stunning, I think. The rich green coupled with the rock gives a mystical, yet familiar look to it, and the lighting is spectacular. Definitely one of my favorites.
