I am so happy to hear what Ben said! Lewis wrote Narnia for kids, but also for all ages.....he said himself that a kids book that is only enjoyed by kids is not a good book (something like that.....i don't think i got the quote quite right )
anyway, this is going to be so amazing!
I agree, by Ben saying more mature he is saying that there are going to be some things that will relate to the older pepole watching, as in temptation. That is the beauty of these books, they appeal to children but there meanings are so much deeper, that is what C.S.Lewis wanted. So i do not see it as a bad thing.
The humor isn't that lame. Does this mean that there won't be any joking around in VDT?
Are you sure you're 18?
Why? Do I look older?
This place just keeps getting weirder and weirder!
There are Dufflepuds and there's Eustace in Narnia. Humor is inevitable Don't worry.
I'm with the general consensus that as long as the equate mature with respect and insight on to major issues like greed and temptation then I'd be happy.
I have to admit though some humor is necessarry, I think Adamson got it right with LWW and I have a feeling VDT will be even better.

I agree with Dinode, I love the silly humor in the films!
Even though Ben said it's going to be more mature, when I watch the trailers and the clips I feel they're trying harder to aim it at kids.

I don't mind humour. I like humuor and I want it in there, I just want it to be good jokes, not cheesy ones. I thought LWW was pretty good with them but PC went kind of overboard, IDK. I know I'll laugh when Eustace grabs Reep's tail (if they keep the the movie !)
