Gael is a sea girl.

Gael is a sea girl.
No she is not.

I sort of want it to happen just because it is so ridiculous. If they are going to have Gael at all they should just have her be a sea girl.
PS. Besides it fits the very little bit we know. Also weren't there sea people extras cast?

Funny, yes, but let's not confuse the newcomers.

I'm just curious as to how these naiads could marry humans and bear human children since they're made out of water. But then they didn't let that stop them when they went and made the dryads out of flower petals.

I am not trying to confuse anyone. I actually think that it is a possibility that Gael is a sea girl. I think it is ridiculous, but i think it is a possibility.

Don't forget stars and half-stars having human children.

Stars have physical bodies. Flower clouds and water puddles don't. The point is, in the books naiads and dryads were proper humanoid creatures, not vague "Omigosh! That's so kewl!" special effects bundles.
Gael is obviously not a sea girl.....
so now it seems that that shot of Lucy waving to the water nymph in the trailer has more significance than we thought! coolness!

It is not obvious at all.

I think it is more likely that the MLG is (or used to be) a slave rather than one of these water nymphs (I still think that phrase is ridiculously redundant). But it is entirely possible that she is a nymph. Anything is possible unfortunately.
We've seen what sea nymphs look like, and Gael doesn't look like one at all.

Not a sea nymph a sea girl unless there is no difference in the film.

if Gael was a sea girl/water nymph, then Rhince would have to be of the same nature since it seems that MLG and Rhince are connected somehow.....and I don't see how Rhince could be anything of the sort.
oh, wait! remember how on that clip of MLG jumping overboard? remember how she yelled "Mother!" before leaping? maybe her mom is a water nymph......
lol

So why was Gael jumping off the side of the ship into the water?
