Does anyone know if a press conference is coming for Ben and Georgie in Japan? Or is the Feb 13 event "it"?

the title, roughly translated, would be "Dawn-ship, to the Eastern Sea". Since Japanese isn't solely made up of 'picture characters' (for want of a better term) and has a phonetic script as well, they can manage to translate fairly accurately. "Dawn-ship" is "The Dawn Treader", and yes, it sounds more natural in Japanese.

I want to add some smatter knowledges about Japanese name of Dawn Treader, Asa-biraki-maru.
It is well-known that "maru" is suffix for a ship in Japan.
But it isn't famous that the word asa-biraki is also a makura-kotoba(a conventional epithet) used in the old anthology, Man-yo-shu.
It put as "set sail in the morning"!
And a sake(liquor) by the name of Asabiraki comes from the same makura-kotoba, to celebrate a break of the Meiji era, as a joy of a new departure.

Wow, I had no idea there was that much behind it! *thought asabiraki just meant dawn* Thanks for the info.

Trufflehunter, I'm no expert on Box Offices or anything, but when I went to see the movie the night it opened, the theater was pretty empty, so I wouldn't say it's looking too good. Then again, it was the English version, and there were two other showings dubbed, both 3D and 2D, so that might be why. Kids are more likely to watch dubbed versions than adults who understand at least some of the English. Plus they might've gone to the earlier showing. I really hope it's going to pick up..
