Here is a new synopsis for VDT on Walden's website that makes it sound more accurate to the book than the past ones we've seen if you know what I mean...
"Return to the magic and wonder of C.S. Lewis' beloved world - via the fantastic Narnian ship, the Dawn Treader. In this new installment of the blockbuster The Chronicles of Narnia motion picture franchise, Edmund and Lucy Pevensie, along with their cousin Eustace and their royal friend King Caspian, find themselves swallowed into a painting and on to the Dawn Treader. As they embark on an incredible adventure of destiny and discovery, they confront obstacles beyond imagination."

(If there's already a thread for this, please go ahead a lock this one!)
EDIT: Just a clarification. As you will read in some of the following posts, this is not as new as a thought it was. It turns out that this has been out since the end of January.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

You know, it's so funny. I am not at all an English person. My spelling and sentence structure is horrible. But I can't help but note something of a mistake in that synopsis.
Edmund and Lucy Pevensie, along with their cousin Eustace and their royal friend King Caspian, find themselves swallowed into a painting
I don't think King Caspian gets swallowed into the painting.
Anyways, yes, I like this synopsis quite a bit as far as accuracy goes.
I wonder why the synopsis never mentions anything about the 7 lost lords?
Check out "The Magician's Nephew" and "The Last Battle" trailers I created!

Good eye! That would be a huge deviation from the book!
Actually, this isn't new. In looking back though some old posts to find all the other synopses, I found this one.

Don't know where this one came from, icarus keeps better track of these than me, but he posted it on March 1, 2010 so it's been around for a couple months at least.

The very first one sorta did (which you can see in the above link). "A band of lost warriors"
EDIT: After doing some digging through old posts, I finally found where this synopsis originally showed up. It was around Jan 30, 2010 on the Official Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader facebook page. So yeah, not new.

Yeah, I remember that one. It just didn't sound quite right to me. Why can't they just say they were the "7 lost lords who were banished by Miraz?" That sounds much more interesting to me.
Not to mention that synopsis makes you think they just happen to meet these lost lords, but they didn't actually set out to find them.

Hmmm... That's interesting. I pretty much only check Narniaweb, so I'm surprised there wasn't a news story for it (unless I missed it) and that I haven't heard about it until almost 4 months later.
That is really funny that they make it sound like Caspian is going to go through the picture with them.
I'm kind of surprised that they didn't mention "hope" in it, since the tagline on the poster is "Return to Magic. Return to Hope. Return to Narnia." (or in some order like that).

This isn't a new synopsis for the movie and King Caspian finds himself swallowed by the painting too? Not very accurate to the book
I'm sure it's a typo and meant to say "To find themselves aboard the Dawn Treader with King Caspian to find 7 missing Narnian Lords." <--- right here would have been better and more accurate.
Long Live King Caspian & Queen Liliandil Forever!
Jill+Tirian! Let there be Jilrian!
it's probably just a simple typo.....at least I hope so......

Yes. I remember seeing that topic. Notice synopsis 1 and synopsis 3 both refer to Caspian as a prince? Who is the king then?!
Someone needs to work on their synopsis writing skills.
From now on a Narniawebber needs to do future synopsises for future Narnia movies. We do seem to know everything anyways.

ditto!
yes, Caspian is no longer prince who wrote this?

A silly person who doesn't do their research obviously wrote it.
Long Live King Caspian & Queen Liliandil Forever!
Jill+Tirian! Let there be Jilrian!
We should not only write they synopsises, but we should also write the scripts and do marketing.
Sounds like a plan!
The actual content of the synopsis is good, but the sentence structure... It leaves a lot of room for misinterpretation.
