Ok I have a question, if VDT does well, when should we expect the next movie to be greenlit? Would it be within the next month or later?

If it's an instant smash hit, expect talks of a sequel within the first couple months. If the film does ok, expect to hear news after the dvd sales come in.
Basically, the studio will likely want to find out how profitable VODT is before making another Narnia film. So if the movie bombs... well, the answer about the sequel will be self-evident.
"Now we shall take the adventure that Aslan has given to us!"
For those who have seen the movie....
Does Lilliandil have a lot of screen time?
In the preview I find her lines to be kind of cheesy. I don't like when she says, "I will be your guide." its nothing that will ruin the movie for me.
Hey,
I have a question about the production budget.
I remember a bunch of rumours swirling aorund a while back about Disney wanting 100 Million, Walden wanting 150 Millsion, and Fox Wanting 130 million. Does anyone know how much was decided on after the conversion to to 3D?

I would be disappointed if they don't make the remaining ones into movies.
They would need to make Silver Chair next before the actor playing Eustace gets too old and they have to replace him. Same thing almost happened to Harry Potter.
I really like Will Poulter but he will be in his early 20's when they make LB if they do, that will be just plain weird and then they will probably want to add a romance with Jill and all that stupidity, I wish he was a few years younger.
Do any of you think that they could have made the VDT any closer to the book?

They could have made everyone of the movies closer to the books.
Yes, they could easily have made VDT more like the book. LWW was fairly close to the book and PC had it's moments (it was a loose adaptation but a good movie).
Currently watching:
Doctor Who - Season 11
Pretty obvious. What I want to know first of all is how did the producers go about casting the Pevensies and other movie characters?

^Actually no, there's some push to do MN next...
That's if VDT does well at the boxoffice...
If there´s a 4th movie, that would be Silver Chair...I read on a magazine interview, that on VDT, there are some aspects that would connect this movie with the next one like the green mist....There´s also the "Jill Pole" mention at the end of the movie
Yeah by now I think that SC will definitely be next, but unless they run out of money and drop it, all 7 should get made. It wouldn't suprise me if they switched HHB and MN either <-HHB's my fav.

In the movie, since so much was changed, I got a bit confused. Was Rynelf or Rhince the one whose wife got taken by the mist? And what happened to the other? Were they both in the movie? I don't remember both of them being there.
Rynelf was the first mate, and then Rhince was the one whos wife got taken by the mist
Although Tony Nixon's (Rynelf's) parts got cut a *lot* so he's listed only as 'first mate' on imdb...
