Does anyone know if Aslan says that Edmund and Lucy will never come back to Narnia at the end of the film? I hope so since I think its crucial! :-

He probably will, that way the people will get more attached to Eustace since they know that he will be the only one that will come back.
That way they can sort of know what to expect.

I think he will. He said it to Peter and Susan, so I would expect they wouldn't hold off on Edmund and Lucy not returning.

Srry if this isn't the right place to post this, but does anyone have a really good picture/ screenshot of the stone knife in LWW? I want to compare it to...

"Be cunning, and full of tricks, and your people will never be destroyed." -Richard Adams, Watership Down

Why is there an African-American person behind Edmund on the ship? (He's on his left)
Aren't Narnian human's mostly white? :-o

Well the Telmarines were decended from Pirates, and pirates tend to be multi-racial... so its possible.

Or he could just be from Calorman.

He looks to me to be more of (in Earth terms) Mediterranean/Middle Eastern, which is the exact demographic C.S. Lewis says the Telmarines descended from (the pirates). So I think it's all good. =D

Yeah I think it's fine. I mean, pirates prob have slaves working aboard the ship, so it's a good possibility that there were slaves among the pirates that "happened" into Narnia.

I saw the movie....and was disappointed

ok, I have a question that's probably more about seeing it in theatres than a narnia fact question... anyways, do you think I can see it in 2D on opening day? Personally, I want to see it in both forms, but my (cheap) friends want to see it in 2D. The only problems is that fandango.com has only posted showtimes for the 3D showing... Does anyone know if we'll have to wait a while, or is the site just being lame?

Are there any movies (In addition to HP 7 pt. 1 and Tron) that could pose a serious threat to VDT's boxoffice run?

I'm not sure PeterCharn, I believe Tangled is our next biggest threat.

^^ I don't think Tangled is much of a threat.....it looks cheesy and should hit a totally different audience than VotDT! :D
