^^ maybe that what happens! maybe his flashlight burns out at The Dark Island and then Lilliandil shows up! lol
I am totally kidding.
but wouldn't that be weird if I was right?

I don't mind Edmund's flashlight being incorporated into VDT. It's only fair for him to have a "gift" of his own, like in 'Prince Caspian' the book. And since the torch is in Narnia anyways, and since he left it behind, it probably would be one of the royal treasures. I rather like this because it seamlessly ties in, being that Lucy's cordial is on the Dawn Treader too.
So since Edmund's flashlight is on the DT...
A candle would be a lot more inconvenient to use. First, you need to be able to light it, whereas a flashlight just switches on and off. Second, when a candle is extinguished, it may leave traces of smoke that they don't need if they are trying to stay hidden from someone.
I'm looking forward to see how this all plays out in the film!
^^ it was the right answer! so he's going to leave it behind again! lol
I wonder if the batteries will give out before the adventure is over.....
That is so funny! I wonder how many other spoilers can be found from those quizzes?
Where are those quizzes?
By the way, how do we know the torch is the same one from PC? Couldn't it be a different one?

^ nope I don't think so. Like king caspian said, and I agree. Since Caspian brought Lucy's coridal, Peter's sword and Susan's bow/quiver and horn then they may as well bring Edmund's torch along too.

I wouldn't get too excited over anything posted on narniacharacters.com . That website is being run by aslanscountry.com which is in turn run by Narnia fans like you. Anything that seems strange or new in the quiz probably is just poorly written or a mistake.
Anyway, against my better judgement, I like the addition of Ed's torch. I never thought about it showing up in VDT because in the book I think he leaves it at the ruins of Cair Paravel and in the movie I thought it got busted in two. But I suppose if they rebuilt Cair then somebody could have found it. And if the torch wasn't broken, I suppose it would be equally likely that somebody could have found it at Miraz's castle...

it's funny how Edmund's seems to give away more than Caspian's.....

I always thought that after Caspian's coronation, he lived at Cair Paravel. In the books, doesn't Caspian build an entirely new castle? In the movie, he lives in Miraz's Castle, so it would make sense that he might find it up on one of the towers and bring it with him on the voyage.

I love that Edmund's torch comes back in this film. I can't remember too much about Prince Caspian because I only saw the movie once. It would be funny as they go back to the picture in the bedroom and Edmund goes "I left my new torch in Narnia again"

"I left my new torch in Narnia again" would be funny, but overall I'd prefer something a little more original.

Dinode you are such a Reepicheep Maybe after that Lucy could tell him 'Well you could always get another one Ed, if you got a job." refering to him wanting to enlist into the army.

Queen Lilliandil, maybe that is the real reason why he joins the army, to try to buy another torch! I bet Edmund would say: "I know it sounds funny, Caspian, but I was about to give up my life just to get another one!"
Join the army, get a free flashlight!

Oh sure. That's a bright idea.
Shastafan, your theory is enlightening.
I had no idea why Ed might be joining the army. Seriously, I was in the dark.
Oh yeah, I'm on a roll with the bad puns.

Well, Edmund's character profile on narniacharacters.com says that Edmund tried to enlist in the army so as to prevent his having to stay the summer with the Scrubbs.
