Good *heavens* that sounds like a yum. I'm a sucker for caramel but don't think I've had it over hot chocolate before...
Dark chocolate with grapefruit and ginger in it?
Hmm. I think that's a yum.
Marshmallow Peeps?
Poetry in the moonlight was a dangerous thing.
Ehhhhhh. That's kind of a close call. I do actually like the taste of marshmallow! But covered in colored sugar gets a little *overwhelming.* Very *tentative* yum if I don't need to eat more than one in several months? Yuck if there are lots and not enough people to share with.
Carrot-cake icecream? (Creamy mildly carroty base flavor, spiced cake crumbles and shreds of dessicated sweetened carrot, and a swirl of pineapple jam.)
Yum, I think.
Vietnamese green tea cake?
Haven't had it! It sounds like it could be fun, though? Tentative yum.
Onion jam?
I think it would probably be a yum but don't think I've ever gotten the nerve up to try it.
Granola?
Poetry in the moonlight was a dangerous thing.
Tentative yum, if it's mixed in with a lot of yoghurt and berries and so on. I don't like it as the main ingredient. (It also inevitably gets the obvious Neil Diamond song stuck in my head.
)
Macadamia nuts?
"Now you are a lioness," said Aslan. "And now all Narnia will be renewed."
(Prince Caspian)
Mostly yum - sometimes they're a bit disappointing in cookies when you think they're white chocolate chunks.
Pistachios?
Poetry in the moonlight was a dangerous thing.
Are fine. Yum.
...Snacking almonds coated in savory spice flavors? (Thai chili, barbecue, wasabi...)
Yum!
Margherita Pizza?
"And this is the marvel of marvels, that he called me beloved."
(Emeth, The Last Battle)
Not my favourite, but still a Yum.
Cream cheese and bagels?
Poetry in the moonlight was a dangerous thing.
Yum!
Rhubarb?
Christ is King.
Eh... not my very fave but is alright, especially mixed with other things. Yum.
Miso soup?
It's okay, I guess, so maybe a yum?
Chocolate-covered almonds?
Poetry in the moonlight was a dangerous thing.
Are fine. Yum.
Meatloaf? (And if yum, are you more a ketchup, barbecue, or brown gravy person for topping? Or something else I haven't run into?)
