When you hesitate (and make a face! ), he threatens to start a doggy protest and sit on strike until you feed him what he wants.

I'd tell him that his more primitive diet disagrees with MY delicate digestive system and that he can have bacon treat if he eats his dry food!

Whoa! -- My sister can relate. When I was three-ish, I got a bit sick of pancakes being packed in my lunch box and stowed them away in my desk.. (the initial idea was to save for a rainy day.) That's so interesting that your little sister did the same thing!
