Life is full of perils but there are rainbows also

"Why are there so many songs about rainbows..." (Kermit the Frog) 

He made quite a song and dance in the media about how offended he felt. 

The river dance, who remembers  that? 

Who, in 2024, remembers the Irish River Dancers, or our own local version from Newcastle, the Tap Dogs team who performed at the Opening Ceremony at the 2000 Sydney Olympics?

The opening ceremony of the Olympics of course I remember!  The music and the tennis is what I remember 

The next major tennis tournament will of course be the Australian Open in January 2025.

The gates will be open at 11:00 am est for the grand Opening of the water park in all major cities across the country 🙂 

Driveway gates can be impressive but are often impractical for daily use.

It was a most impressive idea to convert old, disused gravel pits into recreational water facilities for the 2000 Sydney Olympics, especially when 24 years' later, the locals at Penrith now have their own beach facilities there, nicknamed "Pondi". 

Bluewater, one of Britain's largest shopping centres, was also built in a disused quarry. 

I can't believe at this time of year, that with so much shopping done, I still managed to forget the sour cream & chives for Christmas Lunch's baked potatoes. 

PS: Did I forget to wish everyone here, a Merry Christmas? Sorry, but I am saying it now.  

I go into a room and forget what I've gone in there for all too often!

I'll be glad to pack away the Christmas tree and decorations to make more room to get things done.
