Freezing cold weather - almost. At least heavy clothes, an overcoat, a hot meal, and plenty of warm blankets and rugs can offset a lack of air conditioning, whereas there is an obligation to remain dressed in hot weather.
Swimming or jogging?
Swimming.
Postcards or greeting cards?
Some days you battle yourself and other monsters. Some days you just make soup.
Greeting cards. It is lovely to have my birthday remembered, for example.
Email bills or Snail mail bills?
Snail mail bills.
Almonds or peanuts?
Some days you battle yourself and other monsters. Some days you just make soup.
Almonds for preference. Less allergenic.
Pastrami or ham?
I don't really like ham, so I think it would be pastrami for me.

Mountains or forests?
We have hands that fashion and heads that know,
But our hearts we lost - how long ago! -- G. K. Chesterton
Forests, and the wilder they are the better. Also I'm used to the forested mountains we have here.
Hot pudding with icecream or Cold fruit salad and icecream?
I'm not sure I'm fond of either, but hot pudding with ice cream of the two.
Confetti or glitter?
Some days you battle yourself and other monsters. Some days you just make soup.
Confetti - because it's paper and biodegradable. Sad to say, glitter is plastic and has become a polluter.
E-books or paperbacks?
There, shining in the sunrise, larger than they had seen him before, shaking his mane (for it had apparently grown again) stood Aslan himself.
"...when a willing victim who had committed no treachery was killed in a traitor's stead, the Table would crack and Death itself would start working backwards."
E-books. Easier to store
Birthday party or quiet birthday dinner?
Quiet birthday dinner.
Travel by boat or travel by air?
Some days you battle yourself and other monsters. Some days you just make soup.
Travel by boat but not necessarily by choice. It depends on whether or not one has had a pacemaker or other metallic bits and pieces installed in one's anatomy. On the plus side is that there is less jetlag to endure and much less unpacking and repacking involved in boat travel, as opposed to air travel.
Travel as a young, "see the world" backpacker? Or as a retired "see the world" Grey Nomad?
Will have to be as a retiree. Although I am doing a belated gap year, living away from home to seek different opportunities now.
Snuggle up in front of TV on a cold weekend, or bundle up and face the elements to go shopping or visiting?

Snuggle up in front of TV on a cold weekend. I don't want to drive if the weather is bad!
