Hot tea or hot lemon and honey for a sore throat?

There, shining in the sunrise, larger than they had seen him before, shaking his mane (for it had apparently grown again) stood Aslan himself.

Hot tea...with lemon and honey. ;))

I prefer sticks; I know you can break the canes so that the crook doesn't make your face sticky, but I always was proud of not breaking the cane while I was eating it... but I never wanted to get sticky either. So. Sticks. ;))

Gingerbread or rosettes?

Gingerbread. I made rosettes once but we didn't like them as much as gingerbread.

Roast chicken or fried chicken?

Roast chicken, usually. Though KFC is nice occasionally, we normally avoid deep-fried anything.

Stir-fried meat in a wok or barbecued meat on a spit?

Hard-boiled eggs. They are a salad accompaniment that can make such a meal truly nourishing.

Idaho potatoes or baked potatoes (in the pan with the roast)

Idahos. I think. (Assuming that's a whole baked potato as opposed to a quartered one that's put in a roast with several of its friends and compatriots.)

Sledding or skiing?

Sledding, if what you mean by that is also called tobogganing. Skiing, if it is not on grass, is an unreachable activity for the experts.

Mashed potatoes or Steamed rice?

@Meltintalle: Yes I did mean, by Idaho potatoes, potatoes baked whole, by pricking them with a fork, and then wrapping them in greased foil.

Patterned socks. They are easier to match up. I've got pairs of socks with thylacines and Tasmanian Devils on them. :D

Bath. A shower feels like being assaulted by water.

Winter holiday/vacation, of course. :)) That way we can enjoy a lovely cool Summer holiday in Scotland even if the Sun shines. :p :D
