North! Always north! (I was born in Wisconsin, so I'm of 'true Northern stock' to quote Bree. :D ) And I like Northern, snowy mountainous scenery better than anything else.

Travelling east or west?

Travelling west, as it is less traumatic to go with the Sun rather than against it in long distance flights

Oh, definitely by the sea. I grew up by the sea and I can never get enough of it, anywhere in the world — it doesn't feel right to be far away from it for too long.

A walk in the country or a shopping trip in the city?

A walk in the country. Costs less.

A relaxing cup of tea or a fancy cup of coffee?

There, shining in the sunrise, larger than they had seen him before, shaking his mane (for it had apparently grown again) stood Aslan himself.

Cup of tea.

Wildflowers or flower gardens?

Some days you battle yourself and other monsters. Some days you just make soup.

Wildflowers, actually. One of the great things about taking a walk in bushland used to be to see if I could identify any of the many unique Australian native flowers which might be in bloom, eg waratahs, boronia, banksia, christmas bush, flannel flowers & the golden wattle, which is Australia's national flower.

Roses or Daffodils?

Buy cookies or bake your own?

Bake my own as often as I can. :) Although sometimes when something unexpected comes up, I will purchase cookies from one of the very good grocery store bakeries in town.

Old cheese ('smelly socks cheese', as we like to call it ;))) or newer cheese?

Over-ear headphones. In-ear buds are too uncomfortable & intrusive to wear.

Video classes at home (my university courses are video-conferences) because I can wear comfortable clothes and drink coffee or tea while in class. ;))

Reading a real book or reading an ebook?

Reading a real book. I don't like having to read on a device if I don't have to.

Mugs or teacups?
