Showers. I can at least feel conscientious & law abiding taking a four minute shower, instead of wasting a whole lot of water to fill a bathtub. No criticisms intended.
Winter or summer?
Winter. I can't believe I'm saying that as I'm sitting, shivering under a blanket with fuzzy socks on, mumbling about the darn cold. But this is preferable to dealing with sweat and bugs in the summertime.
Gelato or ice cream?
"Today you are you, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is youer than you!"
- Dr. Seuss
Ice cream, only because I've never tried gelato though I've heard it's good!

Ginger as a rule.
Chocolate or Strawberry flavours?
Chocolate. Strawberry flavours taste very chemical like to me
rain or snow
always be humble and kind
Snow. Where I grew up, it doesn't snow at all, so I never saw snow until I moved to the UK at the age of almost 30. I still go absolutely loopy when I see it falling!
Spring or autumn?
"Now you are a lioness," said Aslan. "And now all Narnia will be renewed."
(Prince Caspian)
Spring. I love the sight of blooming flowers and leaves beginning to reappear on trees. However my allergies would probably prefer Autumn.
Watching Sunsets or Sunrises?
It is a good rule after reading a new book, never to allow yourself another new one till you have read an old one in between.
–C.S. Lewis
Watching sunrises! Sunsets are only the sun going away...sunrises seem like a brand new beautiful orb is magically appearing out of nowhere!
Video games or board games?
"Today you are you, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is youer than you!"
- Dr. Seuss
Board games. They are a great sort of occupation to keep the family amused during electricity blackouts, especially.
Lemon meringue pie for dessert, or prunes & custard, for dessert?
Lemon meringue pie, thanks. I loathe prunes. (So did C.S. Lewis, incidentally.)
Walking in the bush (woodland / forest to non-Aussies) or walking on the beach?
"Now you are a lioness," said Aslan. "And now all Narnia will be renewed."
(Prince Caspian)
The bush! Way more to see in there. (Where I live, though, we call them the woods. )

Tombs! Both are interesting though.
The texture of sand or the texture of stones?
"Today you are you, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is youer than you!"
- Dr. Seuss
Stones. Doesn't get in your clothes or lunch.
A warm cloudy day or a crisp sunny one?
There, shining in the sunrise, larger than they had seen him before, shaking his mane (for it had apparently grown again) stood Aslan himself.
"...when a willing victim who had committed no treachery was killed in a traitor's stead, the Table would crack and Death itself would start working backwards."
I think I'm going to have to go with crisp and sunny, though. It makes me think of fall ( ) , and cloudy days can be gloomy.
Early morning or early evening?
N-Web sis of stardf, _Rillian_, & jerenda
Proud to be Sirya the Madcap Siren
Early morning, especially this morning. It has been raining for two or three days. To look west towards the still thickly wooded Blue Mountains, rising above whisps of clouds, with a clearing sky behind it, was so absolutely brilliant, making me glad to be alive.
Travelling north or travelling south?
