I really dislike shopping for new clothes! While I'm usually happy with what I've purchased at the end of a clothes-shopping outing, I can't stand the process of trying on the different items, and the decision-making that such an outing involves.

Front crawl. When I was on my high school's swim team, I discovered that I'm terribly slow at back stroke!

Sweet tooth or 'salty tooth'?

I think I have a sweet tooth, though lately salted caramel has been tasting really good...

Robins or bluebirds?

Robins I think, but I would be really interested in seeing either bird, as it is unlikely to meet such birds here.

Lemons or Limes?

Lemons, mmm! ♥ (But not that I do not enjoy limes sometimes too.)

Horses or cows?

Cows - for dairy products.

"Coffee break" or "Elevenses"?

Coffee Break! I just can't eat in the mornings but I love a nice morning coffee!

Plane travel or train travel?

I have always loved trains, so ... trains!

I simply must expand: some of this has to do with their size, yet the relative quietness with which they travel through almost any type of landscape with such controlled strength and power. Whenever I cross train tracks in town, I always want to stop on them (yeah, shouldn't do that), and just gaze down the tracks to either side, seeing them disappear to a point in the distance—somehow the mystery of where they go really, really appeals to me. And I love the first sight of a train as it's coming into the station. It's almost Lewis' 'sehnsucht' feeling—that deep, wistful longing and mystery of an inexplicable joy and wonder. I can hardly describe the feeling. Plus, I really like the soothing clickity-clack sound they make. (Other things give me that amazing longing as well—French horns for one, hazy distant mountains for another, amongst others.) But this is too long an explanation for the question. Still, I could not resist.

Switching in spring to daylight saving time or switching in autumn to standard time?

Oh, that is a tough one...

I'd say switching in autumn back to standard time. I know that it makes the evenings come around so early again, but it is so nice to sleep in.

Daytime skies or nighttime skies?

Nighttime skies ♥. But if there are plentiful clouds in the daytime hours, then bring 'em on.

For exercise, walking or running?

Walking if I have to. I have always had bronchial asthma & have been told I now have Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disorder.

Droughts or flooding rains?

Hmm, probably flooding rains, 'though I don't really care to choose as both can be very severe and dangerous.

Curly hair or straight hair?

Curly hair to make my straight hair look less like rats' tails.

Plaits or Pony tails?
