Cow's cheese, which I think is most of the ones I enjoy. But Haloumi, which is goat's cheese, is a lovely variety when toasted.

Soft cheeses like Camembert or philadelphia cream cheese? Or firm cheeses like Cheddar or Dutch Gouda?

Ritz crackers, if they are something like Jatz biscuits which is what we eat.

I'm more familiar with electric, but gas tend to be more efficient to run around here.

I enjoy both, but especially like hot oatmeal porridge, so I guess hot.

Middle-earth stories or Narnia tales? (Or is that an unfair question? )

Narnia stories. At the moment, Middle earth stories can be a bit too tragic and grim at times.

The car you own outright, or, the whizbang new car in the showroom?

Totally the usable cars we own. So not into fancy stuff. We always purchase second-hand cars, paying cash. As long as it gets us from point A to B, and is (relatively) trustworthy, that's all we need. (And my husband does much of the maintenance on them, himself, which really helps too. Grateful for that.)

A holiday in the mountains or by the ocean?

Umm. Perhaps by the ocean, but not a warm beach.

Basketball or soccer?

Soccer, probably. So long as I have an idea of which teams are playing, and which local districts or countries those teams represent.
