I know of quite a few graphic folks who venture into the G&B, and here's a fun new game for you! It was suggested by a member who mentioned that it's frequently played in the chatroom, so perhaps it won't be all that new to you. 
Here's the deal: someone posts a picture, and then everyone hurries off and opens up their graphic making/altering program, and works away at that picture, adding captions, special effects, or a whole new twist, and then proudly presents their version. It's like a contest without the contest part! And hey, even if you don't do graphics, just open up your photobucket and sketch a butterfly or add a caption to the photo. It's easy!
Rules:
1. Any one of you can post a new picture, so long as it is 3 days after the last picture was posted. So if someone posts a picture on October 1st, wait until October 4th to post a new one. Only one a picture at a time, please, so make sure you check when the last picture was posted.
For the sakes of the people who try to keep spoiler-free, do NOT post any pictures from The Voyage of the Dawn Treader movie
2. There are no rules about how you can alter the picture. Make an avatar, banner, wallpaper, or just leave it in it's original format! Do whatever you like, as long as your finished image is under the 800x600 px size. If it's over that, just link to it!
3. If you want to make more than one graphic of a picture, feel free, but please post both/all of your graphics of a particular picture in one post. If you come up with a different version after you've already posted, just go back and edit your post.
4. Please make sure the pictures and graphics you post are family friendly. If they break one of our NW rules, one of the moderators will delete your post.
5. The mods reserve the right to either lock this game temporarily, or close it at any time.
That should be it, guys! Just make sure you read all the way through the rules before playing! If you have any questions about anything, feel free to pm one of the moderators.

I guess I'll open it up with my versions of the pride and Prejudice set.
Hope you like, it was kinda hard to do, the picture was driving me nuts with cropping. But I think I managed.... pretty well
Comments are welcome, you can use it, I don't mind but credit is nice

Ah, I love looking at other members posts in the chatroom, this time I decided to participate. I was gonna make 2, but its late so perhaps I'll edit in another later.
Question for mods: can we comment on other posts, and if so, does it have to be in the same post as our artwork?
Anyway, its just a simple animation, and I've never seen this movie- so I have no idea what's going on, but I thought the teapot was cool.

Okay, I'm no graphics wiz, and I really didn't put much more than a few minutes into this. 
But I saw that picture, had an idea, and couldn't resist trying to make it with my limited skills. Here it is:
(It's based on the fact that Keira Knightly and Tom Hollander play in both Pride and Prejudice and Pirates of the Caribbean.)

In the spirit of graphics thread, yes, you may comment on other people's works. While it doesn't have to be in a post where you post your own graphics, if you are posting graphics, we would strongly encourage that you post comments in that post.

I've never seen this movie before but when I saw this game I couldn't resist making graphics no matter what something is!
VFK I love your blend and texture on the last avatar, so pretty!

wolfloversk, nice! I have a hard time making animated avatars so great job with yours! I love how you took the teapot and made it a major focal point.
