.....might have hit the three day mark once but I'm fuzzy on if that was technically true or I caught a catnip somewhere in there?
What is your favorite Fall leaf color?
Red!
do you have more of a sweet or savory tooth?
This is the journey
This is the trial
For the hero inside us all
I can hear adventure call
Here we go
Oh savory, absolutely.
Opinions on dark chocolate?
Dark chocolate is the best.
What do you enjoy most about fall?
Christ is King.
Honestly, the beginning of relief from our severe summer heat probably ranks pretty high.
Are you more of a cat person or a dog person?
I like both, but definitely prefer cats. They're much cleaner and quieter than dogs, usually a lot less demanding, and yet know exactly how to wrap you around their little finger (or claw) — and despite all the claims that cats don't "really" love us humans in the way that dogs do, I've had enough cats to know that they seriously do. They just tend to be more subtle in the way they express themselves and you have to get to know how cats work in order to understand them, that's all.
(I get the impression C.S. Lewis was not a fan of cats, considering the only Talking Cat we ever meet in Narnia (Ginger) is a villain, but I can forgive him that! He was definitely a fan of lions, at least...)
What's the most interesting book you have read over this past year, and what did you like most about it?
"Now you are a lioness," said Aslan. "And now all Narnia will be renewed."
(Prince Caspian)
Oh no, that's a hard one. Nonfiction would have to be The Boniface Option by Andrew Isker (great look at culture and the church in America, problems and solutions), although I really liked War As I Knew It by George S. Patton jr. and Trigger Marshal by Homer Croy as well. Fiction probably Murder Must Advertise by Dorothy L. Sayers, it's a terrific entry in the Lord Peter Wimsey Mysteries. I've read over 60 full length books this year plus a bunch of short kids books, it's so hard to narrow it down to just one or two, but I did try.
It's fall, so do you prefer pumpkin or apple desserts?
Christ is King.
Apple desserts. I love apple pie, but apple cake is also great and I'd like to try apple dumplings sometime.
Do you enjoy colder weather or warmer weather?
God rest you merry, gentlemen,
Let nothing you dismay.
Remember Christ our Savior

Colder weather. You can always bundle up when it's cold, and it's an excuse to bake things, curl up around a fire, etc.
What was your favorite game to play when you were younger?
N-Web sis of stardf, _Rillian_, & jerenda
Proud to be Sirya the Madcap Siren
Hmm, good question. We would play a lot of made-up games outside, but one in particular I remember involved us (and any visiting friends) being princesses and fleeing for our lives for unspecified reasons.
What is one thing you're looking forward to in this year?
God rest you merry, gentlemen,
Let nothing you dismay.

I'm getting ready to start a new project for work and I am so excited about it.
What's one of your favorite songs?
Christ is King.
There are a lot! Let's say In the Beginning by Michael Card, though.
What is a recent book you've enjoyed?
God rest you merry, gentlemen,
Let nothing you dismay.

I reread The Winter King by Christine Cohen last week, so pleased to find it worth reading again.
What's your favorite thing to do when it's really cold?
Christ is King.
Stay inside where it's at least warmer, if not nice and warm.
Is there a hobby you're interested in but may or may not ever pick up and, if so, what is it?
God rest you merry, gentlemen,
Let nothing you dismay.

Mm... Baking, as distinct from stovetop cooking. I very rarely do it and it makes me kinda nervous because it can be so finicky, but I admire the results.
What is your favorite non-Narnian fantasy?
