I'm not sure if I had one particular favourite, but there was a jumbo duplo fairytale castle set I had received as a gift when I was small and was very fond of.

No, not really... I guess they remind me too much of pajamas  

What was the last food you made?

A chocolate crazy cake with chocolate chips and sprinkles, it was terrific.  

Do you like cucumbers?

Yes, especially in salad!

Are you a dog person or a cat person?

Dog person (I don't mind cats but I'm allergic to them)

Do you like sailing on cruise ships?

Never done it, but seriously doubt that I would enjoy it.

What do you like best about spring?

The birds coming back from their southern migration + all the greenery growing back.  It feels like old things being made new again!

Do you enjoy any winter sports (skating, hockey, snowboarding, etc?) 

Unfortunately, no.

Are you reading anything interesting right now?

Yes! I'm reading Buzz: The Nature and Necessity of Bees, by Thor Hanson, all about, well, bees and their importance in the world. It's really well written and a fascinating read so far.

Which country in the world — one that you've never been to before — would you most like to visit and why?

Probably New Zealand.

It's absolutely gorgeous looking with the rolling hills and valleys and it's got the Shire! 

What is your worst eating habit (for example, I put ketchup on way too many things)?

According to some people, my spice tolerance.

What's a small thing that makes you happy?

Hearing the birds sing their songs!

What is your favourite colour, and why?

Green, because it's the colour of trees and grass — living, growing things — and such a cool, fresh colour (but slightly warmer than blue, which is my second favourite).

If you could transform yourself into an animal (and back into human form at will), which creature would you choose to become and why? (It could be a mammal, bird, reptile, fish, insect, or any other species you like!)

Let's say an eagle, as I think self-propelled flight would be an interesting new experience.

Are you looking forward to a change in season?

Yes.   Although I am enjoying the fresh produce of summer.
