Unfortunately they have marooned you on a remote uninhabited island off the coast of Chile and it will take years for you to be rescued.

Fortunately, the Pirate Captain feels guilty about marooning you, turns the ship around and rescues you, and makes you an honorary member of the pirate crew.

Unfortunately, shortly after this, the pirate ship is caught by the authorities, and you're all arrested.

Fortunately, you fell off the ship right before the authorities took possession of it and found yourself in the company of a group of nice dolphins.

Unfortunately, land is miles away, you're tiring quickly from trying to stay afloat, and the dolphins, though lovely soon swim away leaving you alone in the middle of a vast sea.

Fortunately, you're picked up by a passing boat, which takes you safely back to land.

Unfortunately, the captain of the boat thinks that you're a mysterious sea creature and sells you to a circus.

Fortunately, the circus quickly realizes his mistake and, since you're nothing special, lets you go.

Unfortunately, they decided to literally "let you go" in the middle of the flying trapeze act.

Fortunately, the net caught you, and you were able to walk out of the tent mostly unscathed.

Unfortunately, you accidentally get shuffled onto the circus train with the elephants as you're trying to exit.

Fortunately, the train stops shortly after, and you manage to get off and away from the circus.

Unfortunately, an elephant has chosen you to be its leader and it is following you through town and causing wreckage along the way.

Fortunately when you turn around, the elephant allows you to ride and guide it and so you escape without more damage being done.

Unfortunately, you're violently allergic to elephants and start sneezing up a storm.
