Eel Pie Island, England. I found out about this small River Thames island, from a Tony Robinson travel documentary. It seems that this small island, which contains little more than a hotel, was a favourite haunt of fisherfolk & other boating people, where the best eel pies could be bought. Maybe a haunt for Puddleglum as well?
