Nonoti, a small town in NZ

(whose name, according to tradition, is due to some leading politician of the day being asked to give it a name, and he said, "No, not I.")

There, shining in the sunrise, larger than they had seen him before, shaking his mane (for it had apparently grown again) stood Aslan himself.
"...when a willing victim who had committed no treachery was killed in a traitor's stead, the Table would crack and Death itself would start working backwards."

Heidelburg, a suburb of Melbourne, in Victoria. Not to be confused with Heidelburg in Germany, which features in an opera called The Student Prince. Grin   Hi Courtenay. Smile

Avondale, a suburb in both Auckland and Christchurch,  NZ.  (Pronounced differently,  Auck says short A, as in Avonlea, and Chch a long A as in Asia).

There, shining in the sunrise, larger than they had seen him before, shaking his mane (for it had apparently grown again) stood Aslan himself.

Ketchum (Idaho, USA). I believe it's famous for its skiing. Although I lived about 2-3 hours away from there for a short time, I didn't go skiing for the first time until I moved to the South! Giggle
