"What about me??" Lu but in in that irritating way of hers, jumping off of the sofa. "I mean, you too are talking about how great your side was, right over-top of my head!" Lu crossed her arms and glared. "Peace and War: Overdome Manual, section four, "Fraternizing with enemies in times of peace", rule 842: Do not talk about them as though they were not there-" Lu cut off, forgetting the rest, and hoping nobody else would notice her lack of studying the Peace and War: Overdome Manual.

"Sorry about that, Lu. You seemed lost in a world of your own." Mountie smiled. "How's your mocha?" At the mention of the word mocha, Mountie looked anxiously in the direction of the snack bar. She didn't want to be rude by leaving Lu and Lady G, but the caffeine was calling her name...

Lu slurped her mocha and grinned. "Well, I have to give you minions that; you make good mochas." She sat back down and smiled, ill feelings resolved. She still missed Izzy, and war was exciting, but there was something nice about relaxing and sipping a mocha...

"Well, to be truthful, Lu, I wasn't talking about you as if you weren't there," Lady G said with a smile. She refrained from saying more, although she had a lot she could think of saying, so as to not be at fault if the peace were broken. She turned back to Mountie. "It was crazy all right. I think Lu would agree to that, wouldn't you?" she winked.

Lu grinned. "Yep. Crazy. But just you wait until I have Izzy on my side...unless she has abandoned me completely in here. And to think, she was such a dedicated Minion to begin with..."

Lu shrugged, slurped the last of her mocha and headed to the snack bar for seconds.

"Oh, I remember Izzy," said Lady G. Mountie and Lu both seemed quite distracted with the snack bar, so she decided to head over there too and get a mocha for herself. Moments later she bid goodbye to the two and returned to her room for a bit.

Lu smiled at Mountie through the straw to her mocha as Lady G left.

"So, Mountie." she whispered when Lady G was out of earshot. "Do you really believe that your side is right? I mean, what makes you so sure?"

Lu sneaked a peek after Lady G, storing in her mind which direction she escaped to.

Lady A's kind face soon appeared over lon's shoulder. 

"Good afternoon, Rose. It is good to see you, although I'm afraid your journey has taken quite a toll. I'm afraid you'll have to stay in the castle to recuperate for quite awhile. You got quite a dose of that nasty powder. Are you well enough to talk yet?"

Leia lay in Katana's lap, blissed out from receiving so much concentrated attention. As Katana's petting slowed, however, the kitten's thoughts were pulled back into the present. With a final loud purr, Leia sat up and stared at Katana. After looking at her for a few minutes, Leia yawned and began to talk. 

"I suppose everything went well for you during the battle? How was it out there? Where you scared of the mutant mutts? Luke sure was."

((OOC: just as a reminder, at this time, no one but Lady A and Booky know that A1 is not Lady A, so please keep that in mind when you post. ))

A1 tripped gaily down the stairs into the coffee lounge, and slammed against the counter top. She happened to be wearing a harlequin styled version of Lady A's war dress. 

"Mocha-hucha-latta-fudge with an extra shot of aluminum!!" she proclaimed. The barista looked at her quizzically, but made the drink and handed it over. A1 took a slurp, then fell backward into the couch. 

"Ahhh... This is the life."

Lu whirled around as Lady A (or so she thought) came barreling into the lounge, a string of coffee-related words pouring out of her mouth.

Aluminum?? Lu thought with disgust. I though that stuff was supposed to be bad for you. Oh well, if the enemy wanted to poison herself, Lu could do nothing to stop her. She sidled up next to Lady A and grinned timidly. "So...how's the war going? Where's Booky? Why did everything come to a halt? Did you give up?" She forced the string of questions to stop so that Lady A did not become too suspicious.

A1 stared at Lu, and took a sloppy slurp of her drink.

"Jumping on mattresses is not a good idea. You should not have suggested it," she said, completely ignoring Lu's questions. "I must say, though, those mushrooms were quite delish."

Lu's eyes widened and she stared back at LadyA1, who she of course thought to be the real Lady A.

"Uh..." She sure has changed, if what I've heard about her was true. Lu quickly slipped away from the counter after depositing her empty mocha cup in the sink. "I probably should get some sleep. If I can after all these mochas. I haven't slept since the war began..."

With that, Lu skittered to her room, looking repeatedly over her shoulder to see if LadyA1 was following her.

"Wow..." commented Lady C, "This place is... Bright."
"Bright and white," added Pippin.
"Bright and white and clean!"
"Of course," said Pippin, "just like it should be."
Lady C nodded. An infirmary was definitely a place that needed to be kept clean.
Spotting Luvuh beside Thorny's bed, Lady C strode up to her, rubbed her Lil' Sis's shoulder and grinned, "Hi!" She looked down at Thorny and added, "How are you two?"
Pippin hovered around behind her, blinking at the brightness of the room.

Lon grinned when she saw her Big sister enter. "I'm great." she said, cheerfully. "Rose had been touched with some of the mist, or smoke, and was sent into paralysis. But we were able to help her." she, nodded down at her other Sister. "It's slowly wearing off....."

The doctor, who was pulling off a pair of gloves said, over his shoulder in a mono-tone sort of voice. "Give her a minute. Such a condition usually scrambles speech and confuses the senses."

Lon nodded. "I know doctor." she said with a smile. She then gestured for a bed, so that her Big Sis could sit. "While we are waiting for Rose." she said, quietly, and gently, casting a compassionate glance at her other sister. "Tell me, what happened out there? After I met you at the stand I got lost....I wasn't taken into the enemy castle."

Before Big Sis could answer, LadyA appeared, or rather entered, and came near Lon. Lon smiled, and nodded her head in the Great Lady's direction. "Hello, M'Lady." she said, then watched as she talked to Rose.

Mountie listened to Lu's question. "Of course it's the right side. Who could turn down free coffee?!"

She watched the exchange between Lady A and Lu, then was left alone in the lobby when Lu left. Mountie snuggled deeper into the couch cushions, sipped her mocha, and took out her communicator.

"Mountie to Silvie & Rose. Just wanted to make sure you got back to the castle safely. That strike team mission really was something." Then she remembered the kitten she had found. "Also, you wouldn't happen to have seen Growlie, would you?"

The cat suddenly stood up and, purring, jumped of Kat's lap and walked away. Kat stood up and after brushing off her pants went off again in search of Lady A to gain her permission to enter the armoury any time she need to. upon walking into the main courtyard she remembered the coffee bar and stopped for a whip cream mocha.

Lia looked around her room at the Castle. She had realized that she had not gone out of it since after Lover's Lookout. She had not been feeling well and didn't know if it was some evul illness devised by Booky's minions.

Anyhow. She was better now and was determined to help Lady A and the others with whatever came next in the war.
