Mountie's cat, Chessie, had been left alone for the battle, and she was somewhat disturbed. She had never been away from her master for more than a few moments, since she often rode around inside Mountie's cloak. The cat had been left in Mountie's room, and though she had plenty of room to run around, she had the intense urge to go outside. Fortunately, in Mountie's haste, the door had been left half open. Chessie hit the door open and pranced out into the hall, her nose sniffing rapidly in the midst of her curiosity.

((OOC: I just wanted to put something in here while everyone's out to battle. ;)) If it needs to be changed, let me know.))

Lady Courage's eyes lit up when she saw Luvuh enter the dining room, "'Lil Sis!" she cried, delightedly, "Oh, save me a seat by you during dinner! I'll be right back."
With that, she dashed off with Pippin at her heels and came back panting a little, holding an object that looked like an adorable poofy briefcase. It was, in fact, nothing of the kind. It was a soft "rug", aka. dog bed, for Pippin to lay on. Lady C was settled in just as Lady A began to speak. She ginned and rubbed her hands together at the prospect of a battle and determined to stay up a little late in order to finish work on her special arrows (with the help of half a library of instruction manuals).
When the pizza appeared, she hesitated and wondered if it was gluten-free. Lady C has an auto-immune disease that requires her to not eat gluten. But don't feel too badly for her, 'cause as long as she avoids it you could never tell there was anything wrong with her and frankly, neither could she. However, after eyeing it doubtfully, she noticed that "everyone's favorite drink" had popped up beside their plates and determined that, logically, if whatever was in charge of sending out food knew everyone's favorite drink, it would most certainly know that she needed to eat gluten-free. This observation, coupled with the fact that her crust had a slightly different texture and color than everyone else's, resolved her suspicions and quieted her mind. It turned out to be quite delicious.

When dinner was finished, she had been measured and had her riding boots polished, she went to the workshop and tinkered with some various objects, frequently consulting her instruction manuals. Pippin was settled on his rug and went to sleep. Finally, after half an hour, Lady C lifted up an arrow, fletched with brown and blue feathers and tipped with a strange metal that faintly glowed blue. She grinned with satisfaction and set back to work.

After a few hours, Lady C finished and found her room, carrying her two bows and a now full sheaf of arrows. When she opened the door to her room (as yet unlabeled but she would amend that as soon as she had something worth putting on a label, namely, a title), she squealed with joy to find the room decorated with blue and brown. Blue is her favorite color and she is currently obsessed with brown as an accent to blue. However, her pleasure at finding the room in her favorite colors was nothing compared to the ecstasy she felt when she crawled into bed.
"It's Temper-Pedic! It's Temper-Pedic!" she cried, so happy she felt she could melt into a little puddle in the middle of her mattress.
Pippin hopped on the bed- and promptly fell over on his side with a satisfied sigh. Lady C had to poke him to make him get up and get in bed.

In the morning, she found their uniforms in the living room, just like Lady A had said. She eagerly dressed Pippin in his uniform as soon as she had fed him his breakfast and laughed with delight at the result.
"It looks so cute on you!" she cried.
Pippin wagged his tail, pleased with the attention this was bringing him. "You think so?"
"Yes!" laughed Lady C, "And look! She even sent along an instruction manual!" She shoved it over to Pippin, "Read this while I get ready."
Pippin did as he was told, squinting and cocking his head at the illustrations, then scratching up the paper to turn the page.
Finally, Lady C was ready and she told Pippin to follow her. Suited up in a riding skirt, short sleeved shirt, arm guards and her trusty riding boots, she strode cheerfully out of her room, long bow and quiver slung on her back, knives at her hips. Glancing back and down to make sure Pippin was following before she shut the door, she was startled to find him staring her in the face- on a level with her face.
He wagged his tail pleasantly, "Good morning."

Took had finally settled on a quarterstaff before joining the rest at the dinner table. After visiting the shoe-shiner and taylor, she had practiced swinging the staff around in her room - knocking down a few small furnishings (some fragile) in the process. Then, having become at least adept enough with her weapon not to hit herself, she went to join the fray in the morning.

Kat oufitted herself for battle. Dawning her signature Green and black light armour and grabbing her blade staff. She filled her cargo pockets with things that were to be needed and grimly set off for the battlefield.

Lu tramps into the castle, an odd look on her face. Now that none may doubt on who's side she is, she does not hold back.

"What is this battle that you are all heading to? Why are you not here? Have you all died? has my side won already? MUHAHAHAHA!"

With that, Lu bounds away again- unless, of course, anyone of the castle people wish to do battle with a nut from the tower. :p

The battle was over and the weary warriors were returning. Injuries had mostly been accounted for, and luckily, the damages were not severe. The Doctor had prepared the sick bay several hours before the wrapping up of the conflict, per his orders from the Lady. Rows of comfortable beds, fitted with soft white sheets, were all around him, and the small of a freshly polished floor permeated the air. His bored dark eyes looked out open his domain, awaiting the moment when the patients would be zapped into the room, to be put under his care.

A slight buzzing filled the air and Rose appeared, lying so still upon one cot. He lifted a single brow, much like a vulcan would, and stepped closer to the dryad's prone form. "Paralysis." he said blandly, like it was quite natural and nothing to be alarmed about.

The door to the hall suddenly flew open, and Lon came rushing in, hastily pushing her hair into a pony tail. Her brown eyes searched the room for the Doctor, and then fell upon the bed, and Rose. She gasped and lept forward, coming to stand very near the emotionless Doctor. "What has happened to her? I heard she was wounded or stricken with something...." Lon reached down to touch, but her hand was snatched away by the Doctor.

"Do not touch." he said, snapping his jaw shut. "She is covered in the infectious foggy stuff the Grand High Dark Overlord used. We must first vacuum her."

"Vaccum?" Lon questioned, stilling eying her sister with concern.

"Either that or dunk her in a vat of acid. Which can be arranged." He glanced over at too stoic nurses, who's faces reflected his own.

"Acid!?" Lon squeaked. She shook her head adamantly. "Not that I am a doctor....but I have to say vacuuming is more pleasant."

He shrugged. "Since you are here. Would you like to assist me? You just might learn a good thing or two."

"Oh, yes!" Lon agreed, smiling.

He gestured to a nurse's coat, and Lon hurried to put it on while he retrieved their medical vacuum. After plugging it in, he fitted a soft brushing tip on the end, and shoved it into Lon's hands. "This is one of the simplest things we Doctor's have to do." he pointed to Rose. "Vacuum her."

Lon gulped, then nodded, and preceded to gently vacuum away any traces of the foggy-stuff from Rose. She finished, and the Doctor inspected her job, nodding his silent approval. He then prepared a bottle of medicine and an injector, explaining this was the cure for paralysis. "The Grand Lady always keeps us stocked with the most up-to-date things." After finishing his concocting, he approached Rose and knelt, injecting the medicine into her arm. "She won't even feel the pinch from that shot." he sighed, then returned to his remedy table. "She'll be alright soon."

Lon smiled, and sat on the bed across from Rose. Waiting until she woke up.

It was the kind face of Nurse Lon that the dryad first saw when the paralysis wore off enough for her to actually move her eyeballs. Glancing around, she saw she was in the infirmary back at the castle.

Well, as a warrioress, she thought, I am fail. But my strike team members were doubtless all kinds of awesome, so all's well that ends well.

Her stomach began to rumble. It occurred to the dryad that she hadn't eaten anything, not even one of the Tower's infamous tacos, since the battle had begun. And as time had become so hard to judge after she became paralyzed, she had no idea how long it had been since she had last eaten. The "not knowing" was very disturbing.

"Couldst I please hath, perhaps, a biscotti to nom on?" She tried to ask of Nurse Lon. But instead it came out sounding rather a lot like, "Wouldsth my geeses' wrath. . . relapse. . . in karate through pompoms?"

Being hungry and only being able to speak gibberish is very annoying, thought the dryad.

Lon giggled as Rose attempted to ask her for something. She laid a hand on her arm, and shook her head. "Don't try to talk just yet. The paralysis is slow to wear off." She got up, shooting a smile at Rose who was beginning to stiffly move, and went to the doctor. She inquired about some food, anything above hospital quality food please, and was told some would be brought in soon.

"The Grand Lady provides for all the comforts of her residents." The medical man replied, just as blandly as before.

Lon thanked him, and returned to Rose's side. "Are you hungry? The doctor said food will be arriving soon."

The last thing Mountie remembered was that Lia had been grabbing her arm, right before the world exploded into dozens of beautiful lights and colors. So this is what it's like to be transported.

She felt herself slowly begin to re-materialize in her own private quarters. The familiar sight of her writing desk greeted her, along with a fire in the fireplace. She wondered if anything had changed while they were away - that was her first thought. Her second thought was an intense craving for a cappuccino.

Then Mountie noticed the dull ache in her arm, remembering the debris storm in the castle, and the rock that had fallen on top of her. She moaned and rubbed her arm. I hope it's not broken.

She assumed that the battle was over, although she wasn't sure what exactly had happened to end the skirmish. She'd get the details on that later. But for now, she needed to get to Sickbay.

"Oh!" Lady C was slightly startled to find herself so quickly back in her room and the battle over. "Well, that was easier than I thought that would be!"
"But who won?" asked Pippin.
Lady C laughed and shrugged, "I'm guessing we did, since there was so little resistance. Makes me wonder where the Evil Overlord went."
"Oh, who cares!? As long as we win!" Pippin giggled.
"I wonder how Thorny's doing?"
"You're always wondering about something."
"It's good for the brain."
"Heh. If you say so. All I wonder about is when you're gonna feed me next." Again, Pippin giggled.
Lady C sniffed disdainfully, "Yes, I know. But anyway, let's go see how Rose is doing."
She removed her quiver of arrows and unstrung the bow, hanging them both in her bright blue closet (the weapons clashed with her decor, otherwise she would have hung them on the wall of her sitting room). Keeping the belt and the knives, she strode out of the room and headed for the infirmary. At least, she tried. As a matter of fact, she soon realized that she had no idea where the infirmary was.
"Lady A should get some of those 'You are Here' thingys that they have in malls," she muttered, before suddenly remembering her comlink. Whipping it out, she found the GPS system and pinpointed the location of the infirmary. "Aha! I shall never get lost again!" With that, she was on her way to the infirmary, Pippin at her heels.

A burst of light filled the Silv'ry Wanderer's vision. One minute she was in the Tower's dismal Labyrinth of DOOM listening to the distant howling of the mutant mutts, and the next...she was sitting on her bed in her own quarters, and birds were chirping pleasantly outside her window, where a stream of real, honest-to-goodness sunlight was trickling through, spotlighting the dust particles bobbing up and down in the air.

Silver blinked, trying to figure out what had happened.

I'm visible again, she thought curiously, holding out her arm and giving it a good, strong pinch. Pain. Good, so this isn't a dream. I wonder what happened.

She jumped when she heard a yowl, followed by the sound of something in her closet coming crashing down. Hurrying over to investigate, she opened the door, and out tumbled the kitten Mountie had rescued from the Tower. He looked disgruntled; a tuft of fur stuck out from the top of his head at an odd angle.

Silver smoothed it out as she picked him up. "You!" she exclaimed. "What are you doing here? I thought you were with Mountie."

The kitten screwed up his face and gave her a scowl-y look.

Silver stared back at him. "Where is Mountie, anyway?" she murmured.

"I was about to ask you the same question," said the kitten.

Her jaw dropped. "You speak?"

"No, of course not."

"Don't be smart with me." Silver eyed him carefully before placing him on her shoulder. "Just hang on, okay? I'm going to go look for Mountie. And Rose." She felt his claws clinging to the fabric of her cloak as she whisked through the doorway and set off down the hall of the Castle.

Shortly after Button's last communication to Lady C, Lady G found herself transported to her private room. She had had no more than the faintest traces of paralysis powder. According to what she had been told, "It was not a high enough dose to do anything, but if it was much heavier, it would have done something." That's an interesting way of putting it, she thought.

She briefly took out a different cape (she was no longer wearing her other one due to the traces of powder), tied her hair back in a regular braid, and headed off down the Castle hallway to find the others.

Kat tramped back into the Castle after attempting to rub the mud off her boots. Still outfitted in her battle gear and not in the mood to change, she walked avoer to the bar and fixed herself a delicious caramel mocha.

A few minutes later, after she had finished Kat set off for the armoury, but upon arrival she realized to was locked and she needed Lady A's permission to enter. after walking away she realized she hadnt ever sheathed Pom'nuria yet. She entered the square and not seeing the lady at first she sat down against one of the stone walls of the castle and began to clean her blade.

Lady A had been beamed directly into hr apartment, where she had changed into something suitably dramatic, but still practical enough to allow her to take care of any post war trauma. She quickly made her way to sick bay, to check and see how many new patients the good Doctor had.

"Oh, yes...she muttered to herself as she floated through the halls. "I also need to warn everyone that we just might be having another game...."

"Miaow." A small, expectant face looked up at Katana. Leia, having been kicked out of the control room permanently by Button, was sitting, watching Katana's actions intently.
