You should follow this next one.
I didn't pay her anything! Why do you think I didn't win fairly?
Which wallpaper was your favorite?
Yes, that would be hard to not be able to participate, but I think that she had fun judging it.
Oh, is there another one already?
I'm totally joking. I know you won fair and Square and I have to agree with the judges that yours was the best.
Oh yeah, I'm sure she had a blast, though it can be so tough to chose a fav.
National Treasure? Have you thought of it yet?
Yep! And nope, haven't thought of anything.
Yeah, you're always nice. . .

Fine!
When will this take effect?
(Tell me about it!
...last I checked I was kidding...what about you?)
Well, it might just take effect now! Or next week.
Or, uh...uhh....
(Good, good. I'll check, too. Yep, I'm kidding, too.

"Good. A diplomatic answer. Polite, but vague." Princess Diaries. He is the teacher, right? Nice.
![]()
Haha, funny quote. "It was the only way we could get this far." NT1. Yep, he's the teacher.
Thank you!
I agree with most of what they said in the SVI one. Although, gP's analogy of Rhindon being like the Declaration of Independence doesn't really work because the Declaration wouldn't be usable, a sword would be. I don't really have a problem with Edmund using Rhindon, I think it's neat.
Mmm hmm, I like the Face of Suffering (and the freed slave) idea as well.Otherwise, there aren't many story lines that people can see and relate to. There's Eustace's story, of course, but I think it's good to have another one as well. It's a young girl too, which will be someone for Lucy to relate to in the movie, and other little girls who are watching the movie. Did I explain that very well?
Haha, even if it is a big change, I doubt I'll be groaning the rest of my life about it.![]()
(Splitting this up into paragraphs to make it more readable.)
You're welcome!
Oh, I had forgotten about the Rhindon issue. (And, BTW, it's Caspian that uses it, not Edmund.) I do have to agree with gP that it should be more revered rather than used in actual combat. I do like the fact that they're going to use it again in this movie, but the only point in that would be to show respect to Old Narnia, and using the sword to fight with seems irreverent. Anyway...
Uh, I'm not sure I completely followed you. Let me try to get this straight. You're thinking that it wouldn't be a bad idea to add another storyline to the plot that would give more audiences a chance to relate to the happenings in the story. Is that correct? I can see where you're coming from. And if that's the intent of the writers, I can see where they're coming from. However, I think the book does just fine in appealing to many audiences as it is. It's not the writers' job to "spice up" the book with battles or make it more appealing with different, more intriguing plots. They're job is to make a book workable on screen, which I recognize as a very difficult job, but not one that requires the sort of changes that the screenwriters are known to make.
Anyway, yeah, I doubt a change involving Gael, even if it's a huge change, won't be detrimental such as *coughSusanandCaspiancough*.
I don't mind Lucy having a sword and I think that it fits her character more to fight than Susan's. It's possible that her dagger isn't on board, and she needed something to use, so they gave her a dwarf sword. . . Thoughts?
Right, I totally agree that seeing Lucy with a sword totally fits her character; and it also doesn't bother me at all. Yeah, that's a good idea. Or it could just be that don't even making a big deal out of why she has a sword instead of a dagger; she just has it, and that's that. Or it could be that fights. Depending on how much she fights, it could bother me. As long as she isn't focused on during the battles and doesn't fight nearly as much as Susan, I'll probably be ok with it.
Hey, we could make a podcast out of our discussion of the podcast.
I need to read it too, and I could make time for it, but things are going to be really busy once November gets here.
I'm thinking about participating in NaNoWriMo this year (Do you know what that is?), so that's going to take a lot of my time, then there's Thanksgiving, my sister might have her baby towards the end of the month (meaning that I would probably go and stay with her). . .
![]()
Well, I don't think I could make time for it, even if I tried! Unless I didn't come on NarniaWeb at all (since that takes up a lot of time), but I would never do that. Yeah, I know what NaNoWriMo is. Seems like just about everybody in the Square is taking part in that! Thanksgiving time isn't much busier than any other time, around here. Ooh, that's exciting about your sister's baby!
*sigh* Aw, I'm sorry that the retainer is annoying you.
![]()
Aw, thanks. I've pretty much gotten used to it by now, but it's so annoying when I talk. My words come out all slurred and garbly. Ah well, I guess I should keep my mouth shut anyway.
I guess I still can't do anything right...
Is there any hope for me?
Fear not, there is hope! What is that hope? I have no clue.
FB is very interesting, to say the least, NN. I'm still trying to figure out all it's quirks, but I'm enjoying being able to talk to friends easily. Yes, I do like to write a lot. Actually, I read more than I write, but that is good, is it not? The film short plot is very difficult to say in a few owrds because it's so complex, but it's about a compromised mission coverup. A lot of fights, and there is a mysterious person that is following and listening to all the action and turns out to be the hero of the story.
Yeah, I suppose Facebook can be convenient for staying in touch with people. It's just that it seems like everyone spends so much time on there that it becomes a time-waster. I suppose if one can manage his time wisely, then it's worth it. Anyway, I'm not on Facebook and I probably never will be.
I wouldn't say that it's better one way or the other. Both reading and writing improve skills of the mind. Writing takes more effort, but that doesn't mean it's better.
That film short sounds quite interesting!

Mortereve everyone! How has everyone's day been? Mine has been pretty good, we had snow this morning. It's all gone now, but more will swiftly be coming....
Edmund P: How exciting about Pinnacle! What version is it?
Aw, that's too bad about not being able to do NaNo, very disappointing! I'll pray that your back feels better- is it still painful?
Ella: I'll admit that song reminds me of autumn too, or, the title of it does. Although in the autumn Maple Leafs (actually, the correct way is "leaves"
) don't last forever.... Hmm.
Thank you! Aw, hehe!
Oooh, a book tree? Nice! What book did you get?
Cor: Thanks so much! I've often wondered about that, so perhaps I'll do that someday if I see a soundtrack I'd like to listen too, but haven't seen the movie.
Queen Susan: Hehe! Me too!
Ahhh, apple sauce! A friend made some and gave it to us- it didn't last long with my family, 'cause we loved it! *wants more*
Next year, next year.
*cheers* Betsie! *hugs* Hmmm, no, I must admit I've never heard of Pie Town. It sounds...lovely (?) though!
Oh yes, I secretly gloat over mine too. I look at them every morning and every evening before bed and say "What a fine collection I have! I shall never share another book with anyone else and always buy as many as I can, because I NEED books! I'm not happy with the ones I have, I need MORE! MORE! Then all the books in the world shall be MINE! HA HA HA!" *ahem*
Ah, yay! Right. I think I remembered that you were an ISFJ now. Although you at one point mentioned INTJs or something, so I wasn't entirely sure. Feel free to say more whenever.
Malkah: Ah, good! Glad to hear it! Hurrah for cold snowy weather, we had snow today too!
It was so pretty out this morning! I'm doing well, thanks! I finished my NaNo plot line today, which I'm happy for. Now I can do As Much Reading As Possible before Nov. 1st, just in case.
Mmm, yes. I found it a little bit boring too, but perhaps that was because I didn't really know anything about that time in particular. Most of the Dear Canada/America/Royal Diaries (that I've read) I've found to be of clean content, although not so nice content has begun to invade the Dear Canada series. (Not to mention the anti-British feelings in one. Tut. Tut. Tut.) But seriously, I was a bit shocked at what was in one- interestingly the only one written by a guy- it was so abnormal.
Thank you! *curtsies* Is that a hint that you want to read it when it's done? (If so, you can. I'll have to write your name down so I don't forget...)
Many Happy Returns to you, Alyosha! And it's nice to see you in the Square.
Narnia Girl: Hmmm....not too much, I'd say. Been doing some reading (I always say that), and whatnot. You?
Tiana: Enjoy your camping trip!
Aiden: Ah, thank you for the second opinion! I appreciate it!
*and now can't think of any soundtracks she wants to listen to*
Thanks- but you're right, it was probably for the best. We really can't know what could of happened that might of been bad if we had of stayed together...things might of escalated into something not pretty. (Although I doubt that, I mean, these other people were polite and not rude, but...)
Oh, here's the full picture that I made my avatar from.
Djaq: Oh, you're welcome! I'm glad to hear things are picking up a little bit!
Thank you! Yes- I agree! We were out driving somewhere on Sunday, and the colours were amazing! All the golds and reds. It's really pretty when the leaves float down from the trees too, or are driven along by the wind to some unknown place, it reminds me of the dryads in Narnia sometimes.
Well, I should be running along. Cheers all!

Yes, I don't think it should be used carelessly, but I think that it will work pretty well in the film. I don't have a strong opinion either way, so it won't really bother me which way they use it.
Uh, I'm not sure I completely followed you. Let me try to get this straight. You're thinking that it wouldn't be a bad idea to add another storyline to the plot that would give more audiences a chance to relate to the happenings in the story. Is that correct?

Me, right??
*is very excited* Yay! I can't wait!
I really don't quite understand this, and am beginning to become vaguely disturbed. Why this attachment to me? You become delirious and grovel on the floor at the mere mention of my name. It really frightens me. I ask you, why? Though such devotion is... touching, I really am at a loss as to what provokes it? For while I'm very fond of you, I don't think we know each other sufficiently to become so... enthusiastic over one another. Especially when I do not see you to be of an excitable, flighty nature. Thank you for your affection, but...
I'm very sorry to have disturbed you so. I shall calm myself.
I really don't know why I am attached to you--You just seem like a nice person.
Seriously, I don't know why.
But again, my greatest apologies for making you... terrified.
Can anyone send me to a place which would teach me how to do links? Or are such things nonexistent?
Well... You copy the URL thingy and then you paste it in between and... See? ... or not?
Queen Susan... pipe down. It's okay.
Ok.
Funny pillow thingy about the friend rejection on facebook thingy..
*wonders why she's using the word "thingy" so much today...*
Why?
Because I like you. And when people I like aren't around, I miss them. That's why.
You touch me... Yes, I eavesdropped on you and Destined.
Speaking of Destined. Where are you? At your house, right?
Oh good. I'm glad I don't only creep you out.
And yeah, Destined has been hiding out too lately. *coughcough* It's sad.
But she usually doesn't wait 20-40 pages like... some people... I know... Hehe.
You're still at it. Must I always be near you for you to be mature?
Yes.
I think that's the most I've ever written to or quoted someone in one post. Feel special.
It's going to be a fantasy story...
Anyway, that was more than you probably wanted to know, but that's what I've been working on. Have you chosen a plot yet?
Fun!! Sounds good. My stories tend to be more slow--more... hm, I don't know.
But yeah.
Plot? Well... Somewhat. But I don't want to give anything away right now--I'm afraid if I tell you anything it will kind of spoil it... Sorry.
Wait, which "Awake" CD is this?
Hehe. Skillet. Some people like them, some don't.
QS, I like your avatar a lot.
*tries desperately to remember what her avatar is...* Oh yes. I remember. Thank you!!
Did you have fun on your camping trip?
Umm, how have you been lately?
Quite well.
I should go make dinner soon... Umm... how have you been?
What's been going on with you as of late?
Well... last weekend we went camping and it snowed... It was very cold. It was a family reunion.... and a lot of fun! Our relatives are nice.
What about you??
Yes, I'm still in school, QS. I'm a junior this year. What about you?
Aww, I'm sorry you couldn't make it to the teen party. Was it with your church youth group?
I see... Kind of. What grade is Junior? The first year of high school? I can never remember.
I'm in 10th grade.
(I just kind of realized that...) I'm not sure if that's Junior or what it is though...
Ahhh, apple sauce! A friend made some and gave it to us- it didn't last long with my family, 'cause we loved it! *wants more* Next year, next year.
Yes, it's delicious, isn't it?? And speaking of apples, each year we go to an apple orchard and press apple cider--usually 200-300 gallons!!! (Though we give some away too.) Home-made and delicious! 😉 The guy who owns the orchard gives us the apples, we buy the jugs, and then we make the juice, etc. We do give the guy 2 pigs though... The meat of 2 pigs.
(Since we own 2 hog-barns...)
So yeah...
Catchup is done!! I think it only took around half an hour.

Well... You copy the URL thingy and then you paste it in between and... See? ... or not?
Actually, if you want to put in a regular URL, you can just paste it in. For example, write http://www.narniaweb.com . And, see? The forum made it into a link. Now, on the other hand, if you want to embed a link into something you've written, you have to do it like so:
Link to NarniaWeb
Which comes out: Link to NarniaWeb.
Quite well.
I should go make dinner soon... Umm... how have you been?

Good, good! Dinner, mmmm! Sounds good! What did you make? I've been doing well, too!

Hotdogs. I don't "make" them that often--just if I need something in 15 minutes or something and if I'm feeling lazy.
But I cut up some red pepper too...

Ok, thanks!
I'll probably have forgotten it all by tomorrow... but oh well. *laugh*
And what did you have for dinner?
Avatar by Wunderkind_Lucy!
Mmm, hotdogs sound good! Yeah, I understand that.
*is not a fan of red peppers*
Well, at least you know today.
I'm assuming by "dinner" you mean lunch? We usually use "dinner" to mean supper, but anyway... I just had a little microwavable sandwich. I wasn't too hungry, so it was just the right amount.
Hope that was enough substance!

Good mortereve, all! Quiet day today...working a lot on my NaNo plotline, and slightly unhappy with the title, but we'll see. How's the day going for everyone?
I just used Lazarus to recover this post and got a message telling me all the work it saved me, so I should therefore donate and ensure the good of future generations.
*feels rather guilty*
I'm going to go fix some lunch; back in later for catchup!
