Good Mortereve all! Today is really quite lovely here, sunny and warm.
*happy sigh*
That's the lead singer's wife. Her name is Laura
.
Ah, okay thanks! So is she the one with whom you chatted at the concert you went to just recently?
I look forward to getting to know you too.
Same to you!
Wow, is the DVD set really $50??!

If I may, I got my Series 1 Robin Hood set (which is what I presume you are talking about) from ebay for $20.00, brand new.
Quite well, thank you. In lack of Season 5 of Get Smart, I've been watching through Robin Hood, as you might know from having mentioned it. Reading through your post, you are a fan, too?
![]()
Yes, I am. Not as much as some of the others here, and I really only like Series 1, but yes, all in all, I'm a fan.
I take it you are enjoying the series?
Which season are you on?
*waves to WinterStar* How are you?
Dear days of old, with the faces in the firelight,
Kind folks of old, you come again no more.
(Robert Louis Stevenson)
Aslans Country: Welcome!!! How've you been?
~LL~: Thank you for the Congrats!
Winter!! Hello!! Hope you've been well!! *feels like she is over-using the exclamation points*
FF: Ah yes, it is more then Legos. They have robots they have to program, and they're given a topic (This year was transportation) where they had to find a problem and find a solution to the problem. They chose something to do with trains and train batteries, recharging them, etc.
Programming the robot is WAY beyond me. Not sure how they do it.
They build "attachments" out of Legos and have to knock down or not knock down certain things on the "tables".
It's a bit complicated.
NN95: Ah, a wallaby, ok.
Princess Anna: Oh wow, that sounds pretty awful, not being able to sleep! But sounds like you kind of got caught up at least.

It's ok. I've been overrun with school work, and still am, but it's been ok. Et vous? (And you?)
*waves to WinterStar* How are you?
I'm surviving. A little stressed, a little sick, a little tired, but surviving.
And how are you?
Winter!! Hello!! Hope you've been well!! *feels like she is over-using the exclamation points*
Hi!! I've been alright! Have you? Don't worry about the exclamation points, I usually use more.
See y'all!

) Hehe..
You. will. love. them. Well, I'm making an educated guess on the TAN CD, but you're hardly going to be disappointed.
What exactly does the deluxe edition contain that the standard one doesn't?
lol
I actually already have most of Do You Feel. And I made a mistake. It's actually the exclusive edition and they only have it on iTunes. I just looked it over and it's only one bonus song actually, and it's a cover. I don't want to buy the actual CD and the digital copy too (since the song is album only) but I found it on Amazon MP3 for 99 cents so I'll just buy the regular CD and buy the MP3 .
Ah, okay thanks!
So is she the one with whom you chatted at the concert you went to just recently?
actually no, I saw The Rocket Summer, not Deas Vail. Bryce Avary is The Rocket Summer and his wife's name is Tara . She's not in his band though, it's just him
. I do wish I talked to Laura though
. I would LOVE to see them in concert
.
Ah, cool. And, have you noticed that the Square is picking up even without Ben? I wonder why...
I know! It's weird...I think more people have been coming on...different people
Every family is unique.
lol I suppose .

*enters the square feeling very refreshed after a sprint across the yard outside*
The weather is absolutely lovely this evening!! Earlier today it was freezing and raining, but now all the grass is nice and moist and it's so, so beautifully cool/warm outside!! I love it! Spring is so gorgeous and refreshing!
This post is a bit brief, but I have several things on my checklist to complete before this evening is. Such as washing dishes, washing some more laundry, and completing home work assignments. But here we have some catch up...
Ruby: Yep, all at the same time!
And another plus is that my best friend is also getting braces within the next 8 days.
![]()
So yeah. Lots of people all at once.
![]()
I guess it's fun not being the only one with braces and it means that you'll probably all get them off around the same time too! Have fun! I hope it's not too painful.
*waves to Princess Anna*
I'm glad that you had a good day, despite the sleeping in part. I'm always doing that too, sleeping in later than planned.
I know! Good to see you again.
It sounds like you've been... busy?
Yes, I have been busy. Busy and tired. As busy as I am, I'm still not getting enough done. Eerg! It's so frustrating! My sleeping cycle's all out of whack, so I start school at around 7:30 AM, and by 3:00 PM I am sooo tired! But then I still can't get to sleep by midnight! It's not cool, but I'm going for a long walk this evening which I hope will help.
How about you? I hope everything's been going well!
*waves to Lady Liln*
Hey! I haven't seen you on the Square in a long time! How have you been? I hope you get on here more often!
Aslans Country, welcome to the Town Square! It's the place of chat and all other utterances of nonsense that you might have. It's really fun and I hope you stick around. I know we would love to have you.
And I have to say that I love your avatar!! And I love that song!! I'm really excited about the new TAN album coming out in May.
Oh no!
Maybe you have bronchitis or something similar? Those types of illness can be like that- coughing, but otherwise feeling really good, and it lasts for weeks... I hope you feel better soon!
I probably do have something of the sort. But I think that it's finally getting better. I hardly cough at all anymore. Thank you for all your concerns!
I have been doing really well, thank you!
Busy, but good.
How are you aside from your cough?
I'm praying for you!
I'm about the same, busy but still good. I think the lovely spring weather helps keep things "good". Thanks so much for your prayers!! I really appreciate them.
Thank you. I'm pretty much over it now but the remnants remain
.
That's good to know! I think I'm finally getting over my cold too.
What have you been up to lately?
Hmm, I've not thought about this too much... If war is necessary, I'm all in favor of it. In the Bible, God let the children of Israel into battle many times to defeat heathen nations.
When do you think war is necessary? When do you think it is not necessary/not right? I'm not hugely radical on this topic, but like I said, it's interested me lately. I think that when there is a Biblical cause for war, such as the church is being threatened, then it is right. But if it is just a rebellion for the sake of greed or a war for the sake of greed, then it is wrong.
*waves back to Winty*
I like your graphics!! You're using them, so I take it you liked them?
Oh, guess what! They've released Tenth Avenue North's new song "Healing Begins" on our local Christian Station! Finally! I love it, but they don't play it enough.
Well, that's all for now, everyone! Good evening and God bless!

*waves to Lady L, Lady A, and Stargazer* Good to see you all around!
You are most welcome, Vern. Momo did her share of assisting me as well, and I must admit that it turned out quite well.
*Unlike the last one you baked... wasn't the bottom burnt and the top still doughy? Or was it the other way around...*
Hey, quiet Momo. He doesn't need to know that.
*Sure, sure... he'd have found out soon enough if it wasn't for me.*
*sigh*
A box of.... umm, what exactly did I get, Rose? Anyway, thanks!
Uhh... let's see... *thinks* If you open it, I'm sure you'll find out...
*You don't remember, do you?*
You really needed to mention that...
Anyway.
*waves to Aslans Country* Hey! Welcome to the Town Square! I'm Miss Rosario, better known as Rose, Rosa, or Miss R. It's great to meet you!
Thank you for the well-wishes, Fanny!
*waves back to Winter* 'Ello!
And your effort is highly appreciated, I can assure you!
Thank you! I think I read it in a book while researching about Nadia Comaneci (for a school report). And yes, it has such a good message. I often find myself backing out of things because of fear ("Oh, I can't do that! I'll mess up!" and blah-blah-blah). But really, you just have to go ahead and do it... regardless of the consequences. *sigh* I struggle with that.
Actually, Gilbert had a very small part in the version we did. So, it really wasn't better than Gilbert's part. Interestingly enough, the same guy who played Gilbert is playing Laurie this year. He fits the parts well.
No, please! Don't give our director any ideas. In the olden days, before I was old enough to do plays, we had a very small cast, but it was a great bunch of actors and they would do a comedy each year. We haven't done a comedy in a long time, but apparently our director has found one that would be good for our group, so I hope we do that next year.
Really? Hm, that's a bit odd... And you had a bigger part than he did? Seems a bit unbalanced to me.
Oh, well that should be fun! A welcome change, eh?
All right, off to studying I go. Tchau!

*Cor and Vern enter the Square discussing the wonderful Sunday they had yesterday*
Mortereve all! I trust everyone is doing well this Monday? Our day has been very pleasant (I've been busy catching-up on laundry
), though it palls in comparison to yesterday.
After church, we went to my grandmothers and had beef stew for lunch. Then yesterday evening we went down near Birmingham and ate at the Golden Rule BBQ ( ) and then stopped by and visited some of our friends on the way home.
*pant, pant*
So, it's been a very nice past 48 hours.
*Tis nice to be back in the Square though. *
Aye, that it is, Vern. That it is....
*The Prince and Dragon take their seats at the fountain. Cor writing a catch-up post while Vern enjoys some of Rose's banana bread*

I have no idea what those quotes are from.
Would you please enlighten me?
*fans face with a.... fan* Oh? Well, fiddle dee dee.... (BTW, I'm completely, fully and in all other ways kidding)
I suppose I can be persuaded to enlighten you on this subject... The first quote is from Son of Paleface, an old Bob Hope movie. The second one is from the classic 1982 film Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan.
Ah, that's better! The proportions for a dragon who is "a little over 8 feet long and roughly 18 inches tall" didn't really work in my mind. Thank you for clearing that up!
Yeah, Vern gave me a good ribbing for posting that.... One of the problems with having a pet/friend that talks....
*AHEM! I can hear you quite well, Cor. *

@ Aslans Country. Hello and welcome to the Square! I'm PrinceCor, more commonly called Cor. Pleasure to meet you!

@ Ali. I think it's relatively easy to find a DVD copy of it. Hope you can get one soon!
@ NN. I'm doing my best to watch all the ones available on youtube. It would be nice to watch the first few episodes one day, but I think I have enough of a grasp on all the characters from the episodes I've seen.
Yes, I'm afraid the boxed set is actually a little over $50.00. Of course, that's normal for TV shows.
*waves to QueenSusan*
@ Rose. *Ah, well then, thank you for helping Rose, Momo. Hmm, sounds like Rose is very similar to Cor in the kitchen...
*
I heard that!
*opens box* Ooh! A small box of chocolates and two scones! Thank you most kindly, Rose!

Yeah, a lot of new people lately, and some oldies as well. Ben can just keep painting.

That's where I've really not thought about it too much. I suppose I really couldn't say what I thought would be a good reason for war. I agree with your thoughts, though. This is something I should formulate more of an opinion on.
Really? Hm, that's a bit odd... And you had a bigger part than he did? Seems a bit unbalanced to me.
Oh, well that should be fun! A welcome change, eh?

Yeah, I'm pretty sure I did. If I didn't have more lines than he did, then at least I was on stage more than he. It was strange.

Awesome! I honestly think the first episode is one of the best in Season 1. But you can definitely get the feel of the show without it.

Yes ma'am, Mrs. Jo, we had a great time in The City. To which returned two weeks later (last weekend) to see the great comedian Tim Conway in concert. It was hilarious and great fun seeing him live!! He is so talented!
Nutty, wow, that's awesome that the professionals compliment you! I know our plays weren't "top-notch" because of the shortened practice routine. Your director sounds like a very knowledgeable theater person. You're lucky!
LOL, "First of all, it's called Little Women". Well, I hope the overall experience and performance is fun! It's next week, right? "Break a leg!" Is John Brooke not a fun character to play? I've never really liked him...but that's nothing against you. I'm sure.
