Mortereve, all!
I'm sorry-- all I basically do is show up in here and never respond. But on the current page:
Ruby, I'll be praying for you!! You can do all things through Christ who gives you the strength you need! =]
Very cool that you're playing "Beloved" by Tenth Avenue North. I gave the band a chance, and I find that I'm terribly fond of "Times."
*waves to Riella, Lucy of Narnia, Queen S and Mia* How are you gals?
I've been doing... eh, not so good, but ah. well. My health has been fine and finally it's raining! Not many people are happy about the rain, I know, but I can't help but be happy! At least it's not snow! (nothing wrong with snow. I just get sick of it by February. ) It was reallly chilly today though.
So. Today helped out with the Cubbies again. This year, I forgot to mention, Ella and I are official puppeteers. We tell the overtly-smart children that we're Cubbie and Luv E. Lamb's spokespeople. Which is, more or less, true. Anyways. The Cubbies are fun. One girl gets the biggest happiness in high-fiving my hand has hard as she can.
So, anyone around?
I just remember I have some English homework. I have to write a chapter of my autobiography. Of course, I do want to write an autobio of my life becase I think my life has been very interesting. However, this chapter will probably not be included in the official thing of my life. Parts of it, yes. If and/or when I write my autobio, I want it to be the "show" version--like Corrie ten Boom's. But, yes, I've been having fun remembering little scenes from my younger childhood. [/ramble]

Yup, just when you think spring might be coming, another 7 inches or so of snow falls. But it sure is pretty outside. I'm just glad we're high enough that we don't have to sandbag the house with the flooding that's coming.
Sorry to hear about your brother, Ruby! Hope he's better soon.
...Today helped out with the Cubbies again.
For a split second I thought you meant the baseball team. Glad you're enjoying your time with the little ones.
But all night, Aslan and the Moon gazed upon each other with joyful and unblinking eyes.
Good mortereve, all!
Just popping in to say a quick hello. You got seven or so inches of snow, stargazer? We got a small dusting last night, but that was it. I have to say I'm ready for spring. I want to wear skirts and flip flops and other warm-weather things again.
I suppose I've been doing okay, aside from being super busy... some stuff has been going on, but other than that I've been all right I guess. Hope you all have been managing.
*mutters something about how slow the Square has been*
Ah. Another thing. I saw Ocean's Eleven for the first time this week and absolutely loved it. I'm hoping to see 13 sometime soon.

Good mortereve everyone, I hope ya'll are doing well this fine afternoon.
*waves to all who have posted above him*
Stargazer, it is much too late in winter/spring for snow.
Besides, it's finally gotten warm enough for long enough that we have had the air turned back on in our dorms. Heat only for two weeks of 70 degree weather is extremely apalling.
MissRose, glad that you enjoyed Ocean's Eleven. It is a good one. If you ever get to see the original, it is good as well, starring Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, and the other members of the rat pack.
Well, school has been going mostly well so far. Spring break has come and been gone for two weeks now, and we are now counting down the days to finals with only four weeks remaining.
I hope ya'll have a great mortereve. God Bless.

Hey guys! How is everyone?
Nothing much has been hapenning on my end. I've been super busy with a huge project, been working on writing my books, made some graphics, etc.
My family is trying to move, though. Out of state. We're not sure where yet, but we're looking around. Maybe you guys could help. We want a place away from the west coast, affordable prices, not dumpy or slummy, not too much snow (my mom can't take the cold), and a place that has some nice foresty areas to live. Any ideas?
Conversation seems a little slow in here right now... Let's try to get it going again.
I have a question for you all (and maybe this will help pick up the talk). Which LOTR character(s) and which Narnia character(s) are most alike (i.e. this Narnian character is like that LOTR character)?
~Riella
Hmm... right now, I can think of Galadriel and Ramandu's daughter, both being somewhat mystical beings that provide the heroes with somewhat mystical advice. (Obviously, Galadriel doesn't end up marrying any of the heroes, but still...)
Gimli seems pretty similar to various Narnian dwarfs like Trumpkin; gruff, no-nonsense folks and all. That said, I find many dwarfs across various fantasy series similar in this way... but that may be LotR's fault for pretty much defining the fantasy series genre.
Legolas is similar to [Narnia male who has attracted massive numbers of fangurls], because they both attract massive numbers of fangurls.
Other than that, I'd have to think some more. Especially since my memory of LotR is somewhat fuzzy (I'm not quite as much of a fan of it as I am of Narnia, unfortunately, although I do like it a lot).

Puzzle and Smeagol (misguided and got into trouble because of it). Though Puzzle's story ends much happier than poor, poor Smeagol's.
Lucy and Pip, the innocent, naive ones.
Mountie, if you don't mind my asking- what are you? JK, seriously what I wanted to ask was- how old are you? (couldn't resist throwing a LWW joke in there ). Whoever between us is older can be Pimpernel and the younger, Pervinca.
I hope you find a new place to live soon, Riella!

Gimli actually reminds me of Reepicheep. They both seem pretty brave and valiant in the same kind of way. The elves in The Hobbit at Imladris remind me of Bacchus's wildgirls, the Maenads. They all seem very light, cheerful, and have "over-merry tongues" as I believe it says in The Hobbit.

*tries to think if there's anything to reply to since last time, but fails*
As for your question, Riella, as you know... I only know the LOTR films. So I'm afraid I don't feel qualified enough to answer. (because films inevitably always leave stuff out) Whenever I get around to them (the books), maybe I can answer you then.
Now, if you were asking which characters from both I felt I was most like... that I could probably tell you.
Anyway, before you all ask:
I'm sick, have been the last few days. And it caused me to miss two different things today (if I had been well, I only would have missed one of them. and that was traumatic enough of a thought.... even before I went and got sick). So I'm kinda in a bad mood. Though at the moment, I'm in a much better frame of mind than I was earlier.
What else... hmm. Not sure. Ok, I'll try and pop in again really soon. I don't like these long gaps between visits.
Love ya!
p.s. When I was reading all that talk about some of you being Pip's sisters, it got me giggling. Cause we always held to it that I, even though a girl, was Pippin. So, I was wondering... does that make you MY sisters? (and didn't I already think of you as such? oy, i'm making my own head hurt!)
Hmmm off the top of my head I'd have to say that the warg attack from TTT reminded me a lot of a Narnia battle. But I think it's cuz of the cutting/editing of the movie there to make a lot of (i think in the bonus features they called it) puncuation shots.... Characterwise I can't think of anything off the top of my head that hasn't already been said
Not much has been happening with me... speaking of Lord of the Rings though, I organized a marathon at my friends house on Saturday... wouldn't call it an absolute success though, considering only three of us made it all of the way through (there were more people but they came and left throughout the day). Overall it was pretty fun though

Hey, Pip, don't forget about Merry and me! Not that Merry has had much chance to pop in these days (though I've seen her online; of course, I'm also quite a serious offender of "online but doesn't post" syndrome...).*
And of course, there me, the great Treebeard, who is, of course, similar to [leader of the trees that awaken in Prince Caspian].
*As for who "Merry" actually is, I think it's best if she personally posts about it.

Haha, yeah. I've taken to doing that too, more and more as the years go by. Horrible, isn't it?
And forgetting you two nothin'! I just didn't want to speak for ya, is all.
But yeah, I talk with Merry all the time! (on YIM, and in chat... when I go in there)
Oh, and before I forget! You, Sir, need to write more about the State. Did you know that most people 'round these parts nowadays (except probably, gazer) don't even know about it?
Fix that, please! They need to know about it. It's absolute genius, I say! I'd have told them myself, if I didn't think I'd botch it.

Ah, yes, Treebeard. I talk to Merry all the time. She and Pip informed me about the nickname thing you all have going, so I've known about that for a few months now. They let me join too, and dubbed me Gandalf. So apparently I'm Gandalf and Pearl! How did I manage that? I must be a very busy wizard/Hobbit.

Hey everyone!
I'm sorry I haven't been on here for a really long time - there hasn't been much catchup to do, and I've always put off what there is to do. Hopefully sometime soon I will make myself!
I hope everyone in the square is doing well!! I miss you all!
