I am in utter shock at The Revelation above! And overjoyed as well.
BERNINBUSH/You Will Find Me Bigger/Willow, it is truly wonderful to see you here again! Although, to be honest, I am not surprised that Willow is a former member here, as she seemed very comfortable around the forum and greatly at ease for someone whom we presumed was a 'new' member.
aileth, so nice to see you in the Square (and deep apologies I have still not responded to your interesting PM from awhile back ).
Ara? Aravanna? Ahh, it's marvelous seeing these friendly veterans of the forum again.
May this spring have the best flowers yet, or if you're not into green things, at least have the best books you've ever read.
*loves both* Yep. But it will sure be awhile before gardening season starts here. We can't plant until at least our long May weekend (the 24th). However, spring flowers should be showing themselves in early May, or even late April, depending on if our weather warms up or not. I gather you have already been called back to work again Ara?
Leuth, wow, another NarniaWebber we have missed! 'Tis great to see you, as well.
stargazer, that's a fair bit of spring snow! We are expecting some, as well, later in the week, but not that much.
*waves also to starkat, rose, Valia, Rya, Dot*
So, I'm still rather lethargic after having had that Deathwater vial dumped into me, but am gradually coming around. Drinking lots of water today so as to flush the last bits out. Other than that, I'm right as rain ... or gold.

*plops down on the nearest bench* I must really be losing my touch at work; a 5-hour shift really exhausted me, even though I used to do 6-hour ones fairly regularly. But, I may have a new job soon, one which doesn't involve being on my feet all day, so... here's hoping! *Fingers crossed*
Hello, Leuth! Glad to see you around again, too!!
*pokes head back in* Rya, I've been so insanely busy that I've barely done much more than lurk. I've been working on my certification as a horseback riding instructor and I finally got it.
Yeah; I can't even claim I've been all that busy since college ended, but I've been neglecting it, too. I would say "maybe someday", but I feel like there's a song I'd need to break out into....
By the way, I don't think I've ever officially said this--Conga Rats on getting your certification!!

Well, how do you think we felt, being dead? (I suppose I can't pick on you too much.... stwin's the one who killed me!
) Kidding aside, I know the feeling. Since I didn't work yesterday, I think I spent most of the day watching the fireworks.
'Twas a great romp, indeed!

Now that I'm (openly!) back on the forum, I can say that one of my biggest challenges is remembering who everybody is. I've gotten so used to seeing everyone's real names on Facebook, and now I have to mentally match up with screen names.
Rya, what did you end up studying in school? Will you get to use it with your new job? Funny, I think you were about 14 when I joined the forum... hard to believe how much time it's been.
You can call me Willow if you want to.
But, I may have a new job soon, one which doesn't involve being on my feet all day, so... here's hoping!
Oooh, are there some potential possibilities (excuse the redundancy ) in the wind?
And I ditto Willow's questions.
Conga Rats on getting your certification!!
Indeed! What an accomplishment, kat!
Well, how do you think we felt, being dead?
True. True enough. Rather spirited, though, I would think. Hardy-har-har-har.

I'm a hobbit all the way around. Efficiently simple.

Yes Jo, you make it easy! Truth is, I can't remember your real last name off the top of my head, though I know I've seen it.
Oooo, creepy skeletal smilie!
You can call me Willow if you want to.
*brings chocolate chip cookies to the reunion party* Welcome back, Willow, Leuth, and Aravanna. It's good to see you all again! The more the merrier (especially on April Fool's Day).
Also, welcome back to the land of the living, for several of the mods. The forum was beginning to get a bit haunting yesterday. And I do wonder where the Delia Death creature has gone...maybe she'll be back next year.
So the GREEN MIST was behind it all, as I understand it. But then again, who was behind the green mist?
It seems the Green Mist did actually consume a thread in Costumes. I was trying to ward it off in some of the other forums, but there are some threads where I just literally have nothing to say. And apparently no one else does either. We may just have to let the Mist take them.
Oooo, chocolate chip, my favorite! May I have one? *puppy dog eyes*
You can call me Willow if you want to.
*todders in, very tired, since Real Life decided to get very busy-ish all of the sudden on the evening of April Fools and she's only gotten about a third of the usual amount of sleep since then*
But I must applaud all of you who have been battling the Green Mist—DUN DUN DUNNNN!!—on the front lines! My hat goes off to you! *salutes*
(I need to catch up with this extra game/riddle/whatever is going on. As soon as I can catch up on some sleep.
)
Oh, thanks Rose. I'll take any kind of chocolate available, even that awful 99% cocoa kind (if there's nothing else).
I believe the Chocolate Tree bears delectable chocolate fruit ranging from the snowiest of white chocolate to the darkling-est of dark chocolate, so feel free to take your pick.
(Isn't darkling an awesome word? *loves it*)
You're very welcome! Although I confess there was a bit of authorial snobbery in the suggestion.
I used to be an avid participator in the Inn Between, and "role play style" posts kept breaking out there... I suggested giving the role-players their own space so they would go away and leave us alone.
Oh wow, really? That's funny! Sounds like one of those solutions where everybody ended up winning! Awesomeness.
And it's been nice getting to know you too. Wow, five years is a long time to lurk! I didn't know you haunted these halls when I was here before.
Yep, indeed.
I think I first stumbled upon the forum in late 2005, and it must've made a good impression on me because gradually I'd find myself coming back more and more often during the next few years after that. The forum was always just so positive and fun and creative! A breath of fresh air on the internet, to be sure.
Anyway, finally I threw up my hands and said that I had to join... and then began the long and arduous process of figuring out which username was "perfect" for me. I think that may have taken me about a year to decide on.
*shakes her head and sighs* Perfectionism. It's a curse.
Hey there, Aravanna and leuthilalda! It's good to see your usernames on the forum again! I hope life has been treating you both well and that y'all will continue to drop by the Square.
Congratulations on getting your certification as a horseback riding instructor, starkat! That's awesome!!
So the GREEN MIST was behind it all, as I understand it. But then again, who was behind the green mist?
Another mystery! And just when we thought we could rest on our laurels!
(I must say, I would rather like to find out who is behind/responsible for the Green Mist. I have quite a bit that I'd like to say to them.
)
But never mind that; all's well now that our dear mods have been brought back to life and back to normal. Though like you, Galadriel, I do wonder what has become of Miss Delia Death. I'm rather concerned she's going to crop up in my nightmares sometime.
Hmmm, speaking of nightmares... it's 4:30-ish a.m. here and I am awake. Delia Death was not involved, however.
Rose, hope you are getting caught up on your sleep.
Soooo thankful it's Friday. I volunteer with a ministry to at-risk girls on Thursday nights, and we had a bit of a rough night. It's an incredibly rewarding thing to be a part of, but sometimes it's just TOUGH. But through the chaos and confusion and arguing and giggling and off-topic questions, I know that there were girls who heard the Gospel clearly for the very first time last night.
Now bring on the weekend, please.
You can call me Willow if you want to.
Helloooooooooo?
I came back, and everyone ran away...
I have reached that point of Sunday evening where you know you should probably go to bed, but you don't want to because then you'll wake up and it will be Monday. *in denial*
You can call me Willow if you want to.
Sorry Willow! I'm afraid the forum can be kind of narcoleptic these days.
*is finally caught up on her sleep, and starting to feel a bit more like herself, so yay*
And yikes. Nightmares. I hope that's the only bad dream you'll have for a good long while!
At least Miss Delia didn't make an appearance.
It sounds like you are doing some really wonderful work with those at-risk girls, Willow! I bet it can be a challenge some days, but the time, energy and love that you give to them will influence them positively for the rest of their lives. It's amazing how much a kind word or a loving action can stick with a person, even years and years later. And there's nothing better or more important than being able to share the Good News!
Ohhh boy, Mondays... not my favorite day of the week.
Apparently they're recording the next installment in the Silver Chair Book Commentary for the NarniaWeb Podcast tonight, so I'm looking forward to listening to that soon. They've been incorporating some user-submitted questions recently and making it a lot more interactive, so that's really neat.
Well, chores are a-calling, so I'll be on my way for now, but I hope that all are doing well and have a good week ahead of them!
Roast chicken for dinner - ice cream in the fridge - these shall make up for the sudden revelation that one doesn't like the paint color slapped on the house on Sunday...I hope.
Plus I have Neverwhere to listen to on my drive home. Epicness.
I was reminded again this of how blessed we are to get Silver Chair when it was announced just how very dead the Percy Jackson film franchise is...

What color is it, Cymru? Not fun to be stuck with something you don't like.
I'm still trying to decide whether I like my new Windows tablet... I have to get used to the fact that the tablet falls out of the keyboard cradle if I tip it too much, unlike a laptop where it's all one piece. Also it's top-heavy so it tips over easier. But, the detachable portability is nice.

It is brown. It is, as we speak, still there. I am leaning today towards changing it to a deep slate color. We'll see what happens! It's a small area but it will cost Nathan at least another day if we decide to change it.
I have learned in the past to go with my gut on this sort of thing, and my gut is leaning slate. But Nathan likes the brown...lol!
Decisions decisions. I'm so slow at them!

I think changing bad decisions is more stressful than making the decision in the first place!
In my case, I ended up returning the tablet and buying myself a netbook instead. It was made easier by the fact that 1. the netbook was a good bit cheaper, and 2. the keyboard on the tablet stopped working when I'd had it 24 hours.
What did you do with your paint?
