Isla shifted in her seat. "Mere curiosity...and a desire to bring justice to those who deserve it."
"This is the first excitement I've had in many years." Isla shrugged lightly.

"That is all for tonight lass. Thank you." Stendar said, and patted her shoulder. He then unbuckled his sword and laid it beside a blanket he a found, and place on the floor. "Have a goodnight" he finished, nodding his head to her.

Grace nodded her head. "Goodnight," she said. "I'll go to bed now myself. I'll see you in the morning." Grace turned and left the room.

Over the next several weeks Liam's wounds began to heal. Every day it got a bit better, but he had to take the recovery as it came. Rushing it only resulted in worse pain. He was thankful for the care Stendar and Grace gave him, and didn't take for granted the little gestures of kindness. Finally after 21 sunsets, he was on his feet. He walked around gingerly at first, pacing his room for exercise. Then gradually he manged to traverse the steps. He was careful though while wandering about in the lower parts of the inn, to stay clear of others eyes. He didn't trust anyone other than Grace, though he doubted that half of the townsfolk even cared or wondered why room 9 had been occupied since the start of June.
One evening, after the inn had been emptied of patrons, Liam came down from his room, and searched for Grace, finding her outside bringing in firewood. He smiled, and silently came up behind her, watching as she struggled with several thick logs. As they began to slip from her arms, he caught them, coming beside her as he did. "Need help?" he asked quietly, staring into her eyes.
His side had come along nicely, and now, though it still hurt when he moved around quickly, he could lift some things.

It was far too late; Micah had to get back to the others, before they began to wonder what was taking him so long. He rose from his seat. "This conversation has been enlightening, but I have to be on my way. Calix, may I take this arrow for awhile? I want to show it to... a friend," he explained, and hoped the man would let him.

Isla stood. She pulled a small leather pouch from her satchel and handed it to Micah. "If you won't accept my assistance, take this. It's the least I can give for our...unceremonious meeting." Isla smirked lightly.

Traveler stepped away from the table as the blacksmith stood, "I for one, have given you the information out of a mixture of reasons, most of which I will keep to myself." He smiled, "But I will tell you that I find this tale extremely interesting, and i'll be keeping my eye on it."
He stepped out of the way, letting Micah step past when he was ready to leave.

“I suppose you may keep the arrow.” Calix said, “I do hope I will be able to find out more of this mystery.”
Falcon thought long and hard over what had taken place, and what had been revealed to him. Very interesting… most interesting Falcon thought.

Micah awkwardly accepted Isla's gift. "Uh, thank you. But that's really not necessary." He glanced at the mysterious little pouch, wondering what was even inside.
Micah nodded gratefully when Calix said he could take the arrow with him. "Thank you, very much. This may be very important."

Grace looked up at Liam quickly, but when she saw who it was she smiled. "Yes, thank you." Grace said as she let him take the logs from her. Grace was very fond of Liam, but for some reason every time she was around him she got a little awkward. So, she just smiled at Liam, and walked with him to the log pile.

Edmund walked up to Brendlyn (EJ's character) and siad, "Sorry for my rash introduction earlier. If I may, I am gonna start off with a much more proper greeting." He cleared his throat, looking tinto her eyes. "I am Edmund, formally a Knight of the king, wanted for treachery against the king . How did I go about that, you ask? All I did was say something wasn't right with him and those other knights came after me . I would have crushed them all, but I didn't have my weapons with me at the time. For it wasn't my shift. So, I got on my trusty steed and swooned into the woods anhd saw Lady Suzanne as downtrowdden I have seen a woman. So, I tried comforting her, along with a blacksmith. Were were being attacked, but I bravely rescued her from what I believe to be the Hunters. We made our way to an INN< then the brutes decided to find us and try to attack us there. We had a narrow escape and were joined by a group of others for our revolutionary cause and made our way here. Now, Miss, please do share your story."

Brendlyn was surprised to be spoken to suddenly by Edmund, but listened to his words quietly. It eased some of the anger she held toward him, but didn't quite raise her opinion of him as much as he, perhaps, hoped it would. She thought it odd that he would speak such private matters of a dangerous subject to a stranger; and even suspected he might be bragging of his valor. But, not wanting to offend him, and wishing to give him the benefit of the doubt, she held her tongue on that suspicion. Brendlyn smiled when he had finished, bowed and said, "Your honesty is admirable. And I will not hold our earlier episode against you. As for me, I am merely Brendlyn, Lady of the Woods, Daughter of the Deceased, with no other wish than to avenge my parents' murder, and to be you and the others' humble servant. Nothing more, yet certainly nothing less."

Liam gazed into Grace's eyes, and suddenly wondered if anyone had ever told her how quite beautiful they were. He sucked in a breath, and looked down, not wishing to stare. "I want to thank you for the past two weeks. And all you've been doing for us....for me. You are very kind"

Grace looked up at Liam "It's least I can do." She said with a small smile. When they got to the wood pile Grace helped Liam stack the logs. After they finished Grace started to walk to the back door of the inn.
