Folks on Twitter have reported that Stephen Thorne, best known to Doctor Who fans for his three villains in the Classic Series, and to Narnia fans as the voice of Aslan in the 1979 animated version of "The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe" has died.
R.I.P. Stephen. I never met you, but i hope you are now at peace and free in Aslan's Country.

This animated version is likely the first Narnia version I experienced. May the eternal light shine upon him.
