I thought the female narrator (in the role of God) in Good Omens was very good.
Perhaps the new Narnia film can have a woman as a narrator! Perhaps...Meryl Streep?

If they do include one, I wouldn’t tie it to a character in the story at least not until the final book perhaps. I’d want it to feel like a gentle guide rather than someone recounting their own tale per se. Think something closer to Cate Blanchett’s Galadriel prologue in The Fellowship of the Ring which was evocative and epic but mostly used to set the stage. Maybe just at the beginning and end.
