I can't wait to see how annoying he is!

But I also can't wait to see how non-annoying he is, after the transformation. Will is an amazing actor if he can pull it off. It's like playing two opposites in the same movie!

He has the journal with him. In the clip, he puts it in his sock before going through the painting.

*Eustace sitting among some barrels, writing in his notebook. He asks an albatross on a barrel if he talks too, and a nearby minotaur laughs at him talking to animals.

I was thinking there was a third showing (other then the uber-private, uber-secret one for Tirian and a few other top Narnia fan types) but now I can't find anything on it so maybe not...

I can understand Eustace+Jill's point of view at this moment because we don't see Eustace at all after a certain point when he discovers the treasure which will obviously be on the lone islands. He's not on Ramandu's Island [even if that is the island], he's not on Dark Island and he wasn't with Caspian, Lucy and Edmund on the ship when they were getting close to the sea of lilies. So DamselJillPole and I figured he's been a dragon for that long or he might have changed back on Ramandu's Island if Dark Island doesn't come after that. But we'll see soon.

We must remember that we are only seeing clips. He wasn't in the clip we saw of Dark Island but that doesn't mean he isn't on Dark Island at all. He wasn't in the clip we saw of Ramandu's Island but that doesn't mean he isn't there at all ect.

I do believe, and I greatly hope, that the people in charge know to make Eustace a central character because The Silver Chair depends on it. I do think maybe their not using the "sell the new character" this time around because that was what they did for PC and it didn't do so well. I think now they are trying to give people what they remember from the last two films and let the rest be a pleasant surprise.

Judging by the three clips I think they grasp the importance of Eustace's character in VDT and I don't think we will be disappointed in how it's handled come December Can't wait!

Plus, they might change Eustace into a dragon later in the film. That way, instead of having less Will Poulter, we'll have less Dragon Eustace -- because the amount of time between his turning into a dragon and when he gets undragoned might not be very much time at all. They probably had to do this for plot reasons, Will Poulter's screentime, and all the money it takes to make the Dragon's CGI shots.

I love Will!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He is sooo perfect as Eustace!!! He is just what i imagined Eustace to be I cant wait to see him in VDT!!!

I was skeptical at first, but I think Will is going to be an excellent Eustace.

I was really encouraged by the 3 clips regarding Will's portrayal of Eustace. Did anyone notice how in the 1st 2 clips his voice sounded horribly annoying and made you instantly wrinkle up your nose at him, while in the 3rd clip he sounded more humble and more "normal"? Maybe it was just me, but I really like the obvious transformation from "awful Scrubb" to "redeemed Eustace".

Definetely! Some people thought his voice sounded odd (which is understandable), but I think he sounds very annoying and rude. There should be an obvious voice difference between a nasty person and a kind person. Way to go, Will!
