Well, now people are starting to recognise him more due to his role in Narnia!

I don't know that it's networking, but maybe so. Will showed up with a fellow cast member and the director of Wild Bill - a movie he stars in and which wrapped filming a few weeks ago. I think that's why Will was there.

I guess everyone has been won over by Will Poulter in the role! He did do a great job!

I hear people that saying that they think that if the SC is done a long time from now that they will recast someone for Eustace. I don't think this will happen, especially after the positive reviews he got as Eustace.

If he gets so old they can't dress him down anymore and he can't look reasonably like a high-schooler...then they'll have to recast him if they still want to make SC. But there's lots of other threads discussing all that.

BTW saw this recent photo from willpoulterfans. Who is the person next to him? I’m guessing it’s Rafe Spall?

I think if Will gets much older, he won't look young enough to play Eustace! One problem is height. Everyone's mentioned that. Another is bulk (upper body), which almost no one has mentioned. William added bulk between LWW and PC. Skandar added bulk between PC and VDT. It seems to happen in the late teens and/or early twenties. If Will's body goes the way of William and Skandar before him, he'll add bulk and look like an adult. Now is the time to make SC, Walden Media!

I really hope Will wins something for playing Eustace! So far, a few nominations and no wins. But the year isn't over!

I was wondering...say they do make MN instead of SC. I was hoping Walden might consider him for some of the other family films they put out. There might be a suitable role out there for him that fits the sort of type he can play now as an "older" young adult. He is an actor to watch.

I hope so stateofgreen, I couldn't stand Will Poulter just fading into the background! He is WAY too talented to ignore and he has gained loads of new fans from being in Narnia!

Will is wonderful actor and its too bad that SC most likely won't be out next.

When I first saw the actor who would be playing the part of Eustace, I must have stared at the computer screen for a great deal of time, because the face I saw was exactly the way my nine-year-old brain had imagined the first time I read Voyage of the Dawn Treader. Then I saw his acting on screen, and that left no doubt in my mind that Will Poulter was the PERFECT Eustace.
I think I'd much prefer SC to be made next, because I don't think I can wait another five years just to see Poulter's brilliant acting as Eustace again!

Oh and stateofgreen, thanks for the link to that video! LOL, my computer is really slow and it took forever for the vid to load, and as it was loading I saw the first about ten seconds and laughed ALOT because he made about 10 diffent facial expressions in about 10 seconds But seriously, Will Poulter is great, and its lovely to hear him speak normally as in everythink he's done so far he's been horrible for the majority of the time (Except for SOC where he plays about 1000 different characters!) and its nice to hear how different he is in real life!

Interesting, in part of that video he mentions that there isn't confirmation of his next project...and I wonder if he means SOC or SC?
