Wonder if they'll keep in these lines, in some form or other...

oh I hope they keep that in too! that is the best part of the whole book!

I must say I really liked that scene to. I recently re-read it a couple of times all the way through. It's a very touching scene, and Edmund is so quick to forgive. I think that's because of him....him being a traitor then being forgiven. It gives him sympathy toward others who have had similar experiences. I'm really hoping that's in there, for that will be a very emotional scene. Skandar's doing such a good job with Edmund, I'm sure he'll do great in VOTD. I'm just really looking forward to see how Edmund changes, and reacts to new situations. Skandar was a perfect pic for him.

^^ I have read the book over and over recently and I can't wait to see Skandar as Edmund in VotDT, especially in that scene! he's going to do a great job!

I LOVE Skandar Keynes portraying Edmund!! He has changed sooo much since LWW to PC. I wonder what he'll be like in VDT?? I can't wait!!

Skandar's voice got obviously deeper from LWW to PC. will his voice be any deeper in VotDT? can his voice get any deeper? I wonder.....

Skandar is absolutely amazing as Edmund. I was impressed beyond words with his LWW performance, and I asked my mom if I could meet him afterward! (I was quite a few years younger then and wasn't fully aware of the true celebrity of movie stars and how you couldn't just look up their address on Google or Yahoo and go visit them.) But what I was nearly flabbergasted by in PC was how he portrayed the 180 degree twist in Edmund. I was thinking, "He's such a good bad boy and he's such a good good boy!" Edmund has always been my favorite character ever since I read the CoN at the tender age of six or seven- I forget. I probably wrote something different somewhere else. Anyway, he was so creditable and cool to watch. I liked his quiet character in PC, because I imagined it as he was sorry for what he did in LWW, so he didn't really say a lot. And, it was Peter and Susan's last time on screen (excepting minor cameos and LB), so I felt all right about production letting Edmund's and Lucy's screen time slack a bit. But, I hope that Edmund, Reep, and Lucy burst into full bloom in VotDT! God bless all!

*EDIT* P.S. I have noticed that a lot of people are abbreviating Voyage of the Dawn Treader as VOTD. Ummm, it's VODT. Or VotDT. Haha, I'm being picky.

What do you all think of Edmund's look in two of the posters that have come out? I'm not too happy with it - I want to see a picture where he doesn't look like he's in the middle of a huge battle - but what do you all think?

I like the one better in the recent poster of him, at least he is holding the sword by its' hilt this time around. This being said it is the weirdest poster ever. I don't like it, but Edmund looks good.

I just don't like his expression.. and I hope this isn't the picture they use on all the posters. But I'm just being picky.

I think his face looks alright.....it's the sword that bothered me but it's ok now! yay!

I don't really see why many people are so bothered by his face on the poster. He looks to be aware or his surroundings for danger or upcoming islands.

I think Edmund looks great on the poster because he's the only one who looks like he's doing anything that the movie is going to show.....except maybe Caspian......

Yes one thing is for sure Skandar is having his character doing something and I think that stands out more then the rest of them. I like it a lot and he is all grown up

@Aslan's Country: complete agreement. There's nothing wrong with Edmund's face, per se, but I wish he didn't look like he were in a battle. I want something more contemplative, like Lucy and Eustace. I don't want Ed looking battle-ready on future posters either.
