Yeah, I too believe that they are just making fun of it. Maybe they got nothing to do so they just joke around and put it on Skandar and Georgie.

Maybe it was a bit harsh to talk about it like that, and my personal first impression was that Edmund was comforting Lucy while looking a bit sadly at something. But I can see why people thought he was smirking or holding back a laugh, and I do believe they were just having a small joke.
220, some of those comments were not completely nice, but overall I believe they were poking fun. I think you took a bit too seriously what was meant to be a jest.

But that picture is very good.

I think it is time to move past that photo and on to other things about Edmund/Skandar. News Story comments aren't moderated like the forums so there is more immaturity there. No official rules either. But that could be changing soon.

I think its good to let people say their comments (as long as they arent swearing or speaking innappropriate things) in the comment section. It gives a good idea of what the general public thinks of the movie and not just the well behaved narniaweb regulars.

Well, I must say I am looking forward to seeing Edmund taken to a new level of maturity in this film.

And wishing Skandar well in his studies and career choices.

Thanks, Auntie. I think it will be interesting to see what level of acting Skandar will reach in VDT. He seems like a very natural actor to me with a pretty good range.

Just over 30 days to go to see his third performance as Edmund. Can't wait.

I'm definitely looking forward to Edmund in VODT. From the trailers and spoilers - besides the 'no' scene - he looks pretty awesome! I'm just desperately hoping that they don't ruin his character.

Though, regardless, I can always write a fanfic 'fixit' like I did with PC.

I'm sure Skander can pull off Edmund (as he has done a great job in the past.) I'm glad that the whole WW thing is just a nightmare (one that makes sense for his character.)

I agree, I hope they don't make Edmund too power hungry, like Peter in PC. But I'm also glad he'll have more scenes and lines than he did in the last movie.

^Me too! I may sound sound crazy, but I hoped the movie makers would give Edmund more importance in this movie then he had in PC and the VDT book. I doubt Edmund's pride problem will be the same as Peter's was, but if it's almost identical, I'll still feel a slight bit better about Edmund being a jerk then I was with Peter. Show me what you can do, movie makers, 'cause as long as it's not over the top, I should very likely be satisfied!

From the "Transition To Narnia" clip, I love when Edmund says "But it's [the painting] just another reminder that we're here and not there." It's such a sad but sweet line, and I love how it reflects how much Lucy and Edmund want to return. Funny how that painting really was their way back to Narnia!

In the interview with Will and Georgie that was recently posted, Georgie mentions how all four main characters go through a transformation. That certainly gives me hope that we'll see some good development in Edmund's character and that Skandar will get some much-deserved screen time.

When it comes down to seeing Skandar in VDT I'm very excited I really want to see his acting level develop but he already amazing I'm just very excited!

For his character I really really really hope they show him kind of fully taking on the big brother role and looking out for Lucy things like that

^Yeah, I hope they show that brother and sister realationship, too! I love how in the first movie, Edmund cares little for Lucy and treats her badly, although she's nice back. After he's taken to Aslan's Camp, he started treating her better, and by PC, he was ready to take Lucy's side when she saw Aslan. It would be great to see that bond between them deepen throughout VDT, especially since each other is all the family they have at the moment while being stuck with a pesky cousin!
