i think it would be great if they emphesized Edmund's relationship with Eustace. that's like the greatest part of vodt
^^ ditto! I am loving what we have seen of Edmund and Eustace in the first new clip! it's awesome! they hit it off in such a good way (good because it's right along with the book not becuase their additudes are good )!

^^ so true, the dinamic between Edmund and Eustace is so perfect, and so true to the book!! vodt is gunna be so great
I also like when Edmund says, "I never should have left him." To me, it seems that the movie will show how Edmund struggles getting along with Eustace, which I'm happily hoping for. This would really be a great character arch for Edmund, to see how he at first is really annoyed and bothered by Eustace, then feels guilty for not treating his cousin nicer, and finally forgives Eustace, and learns to relate with him. I sure hope this is what they're doing!
Yes, exactly!
But I really hope that there is more between Edmund and Eustace, about Eustace's undragoning, than what we saw in the video. It was such a long, wonderful part in the book. It would be a shame if they just had those few lines about it in the movie, and that's all.

^I think there will be, because since it's most likely a separate scene that they have together, there would have to be more dialogue to make it more.. complete as a scene, I think. Particularly more from Edmund. All he really says is "so what was it like when Aslan changed you back?", and then Eustace talks. That's kind of one-sided.

that is a great part of the books, that the movie makers would never take out completely, because if they did it would mess up part of the movie. i can't wait to see the rest of the scene
Edmund gets his torch back! I'm really giddy right now about this!
^^ yeah me too! when I saw the picture I was like "YES! the torch has returned!" and I gave a little scream! so so happy about this

Happy Birthday, Skandar! May your year be full of blessings!
Just wanted to drop in and wish Skandar a VERY happy and blessed birthday!
Pray for Skandar member! PM Benjamin to join!
I saw the film on Opening Day!
When all else fails, read the Instructions!
Happy birthday Skandar!!!
I wonder how he gets his torch back? Does Caspian hand it to him when they arrive in Narnia???
~Riella
^^ they never actually arrive in Narnia in VotDT.....they get on board before The Lone Islands
my guess is that Caspian brings it on board along with Lucy's cordial and dagger and Susan's horn and Peter's sword.......

Yesterday on his birthday, Skandar posted some news on his website. I reported it on AC: http://www.aslanscountry.com/2010/09/ha ... y-skandar/. So what's the big deal?
He vacationed in Lebanon.
He's waiting for university classes to begin this fall (I have no idea where).
He plans to study “Arabic and Middle East Studies." (This phrase doesn't match what Cambridge or Edinburgh offers... )
And he may continue acting if he's "offered any suitable parts at the right time."
I wish I knew which university Skandar plans to attend! If he does some acting in the future, what would we Narnia fans like to see?
^I'm in the middle of writing a novel and a character based on Skandar. If it's ever turned in a movie I'd like to recommend him as the part, if it helps. For some reason i'd like to see him in darker roles like a vampire (true myth vampires, not teen struck ones) or something.
Long Live King Caspian & Queen Liliandil Forever!
Jill+Tirian! Let there be Jilrian!
220 - the only university I can find to match 'Arabic and Middle East Studies' is the University of Exeter..
And I hope he does continue acting.. I'll be sad if I don't get to see him in any movies apart from Narnia.
