The Voyage of the Dawn Treader has sailed into production and King Edmund the Just will return to Narnia as portrayed by Skandar Keynes.
Welcome to the newest thread about Edmund for discussion on three topics!
1) Skandar Keynes in his role as Edmund
2) Skandar Keynes in his other roles and public appearances
3) Skandar Keynes in the news! (Gossip is still off limits!)
Yep, you read it correctly! We are tweaking the topic to allow discussion about Skandar outside of his role as Edmund. We're including discussion on other roles that he has portrayed, and any news about Skandar Keynes (gossip and rumors about the actor's personal life are still off limits!). So have fun and welcome to the new thread!

Second post again!!!!
I can't wait to see Skandar in VOTD. He protrays Edmund so well, with all the witty comments and humor his character adds. I haven't seen much news on him other that VOTD. But I can't wait for his performance in that. He's a got a talent. He's good at protraying the young Edmund, with all his character. But at the same time he's good at being the strong big brother. Keep up the good work Skandar!

I love Skandar as Edmund! And I can't wait to see him in VDT! I haven't seen him in any of his other roles, though.
Happy 18th birthday, Skandar!
I can't believe I forgot...I just blanked on what day it was...

I didn't know where else to put this since the thread about the ship is gone, but on Skandar's official site, the update for September 4th stated:
"The summer vacation was spent filming in Australia on the Gold Coast and after six weeks Skandar was lucky to get a Friday off so went to Sydney for a three-day break. The holiday was soon over as his teachers arrived from England and school has started again. At the same time filming of the boat at Cleveland Point has started and will last for three weeks. The boat is even more magical than in the pictures posted by fans on the internet so wait till you see the film!"

Don't forget, mm. You can always start a new thread.
That is great news! I look forward to seeing it on screen!

Any one looking for their "Happy Birthday" posts, can find them in the Happy Birthday Skandar thread.
Ah, the Edmund/Skandar thread.
He is utterly perfect as Edmund. No one else possible can I imagine portraying Ed as well as Skandar did.
I saw parts of Enzo Ferrari and he was so cute when he was that young!
I loved Skandar as Edmund in LWW, and he was great in PC-
only problem was shortened screen time. Can't wait to see his portrayal in VDT, and I am sure looking forward to his added screen time, after all there is no way he can have as such a small part in this one too.
Edmond should be awesome in this movie and get the recognition he deserves!

Really excited to see how Edmund becomes more of a leader in this next movie now that he's out from under Peter's shadow. He didn't really interact with Caspian very much in PC, so it'll be interesting to see their relationship in VDT.

Edmund became my favourite character through seeing Skandar play him in LWW and PC; he's by far my favourite character in the books now. He was played so brilliantly in PC, despite his small role. I really hope we see more of him in VDT, especially in Eustace's redemption scene. That'd better be awesome.

I absoultely LOVE Skandar as Edmund .. I am soooo glad that casted him... I don't think anyone could have played him better ... the thing thats so perfect is when my mom read the books to me when I was little Skandar was exactly as I imagined him ... when i saw LWW in theatres I couldn't believe it .. it was like the thoughts in my head just floated on to the screen.
I love Edmund so much. He is absolutely my favorite character out of the chronicles ... I guess its how I relate so much to him ... his life before he was "saved" was exactly how I was ... its like I have this special little bond with Edmund. The character Edmund Pevensie will always have a special place in my heart. Who knows lol I'll probably even name my first child Edmund.

I love Edmund as well but because his spiritual walk is so similar to my own. I can't wait to see the realationship between Edmund and Caspian. They didn't have much contact in PC so I'm not sure how ''good'' of friends they'll be...same with Lucy and Caspian. But back to Skander. He was my favorite choice of actor they made(beside Georgie). He absolutely nailed each role in LWW and PC. I love his facial expressions and his swordfighting was the most believable(I find it funny that he is dueling Ben, because Ben was probably the least believable). I can't wait to see more of Skander's outstanding acting ability in VDT!!!!!!
I saw the movie....and was disappointed
I absolutly love Skander as Edmund. Edmund has always been one of my favorite characters in the books. Skander portrayed him SO well in LWW and although we didn't see him so much in PC he still always stuck up for Lucy and that's probably my favorite thing about him. I can't wait to see him in VDT!!!
