I'm trying to add a photo of a birthday pavlova that I found online, but can't remember how to do it with this particular forum software, so if anyone here can enlighten me, I'd be very grateful... (I love the Harry Potter cake from @jo as well, but I know Wagga has let on a few times that she's particularly fond of pavlova.

Thank you, @jo @courtenay @coracle and @sir-cabbage for the lovely birthday cake and good wishes. Yes, I did originally get my username as a participant in the Leaky Cauldron HP fan website, where I did write about five of the Harry Potter essays, including one in the very 1st issue of Scribbulus, which I was asked to write. In doing so I ended up being struck by just how much JK Rowling had been influenced by her childhood reading of C.S. Lewis, and when VDT was in the offing, that was when I joined NarniaWeb. 
And it was a lovely birthday to have, despite the heavy rain.

Thanks @twigs and @coracle! I had a wonderful birthday thanks! And my family even surprised me by giving me the 75th anniversary special edition Chronicles of Narnia 7-in-1 Deluxe Hardcover Slipcase! I had the day off and played board games with the family - it was great!

Pardons that I am a tad late in sending celebratory wishes to you, @Pete. Your birthday does sound really lovely in every way. To think you received a copy of the 75th anniversary Chronicles special edition, niiiice! And board games with the family is the best!
