In March, I apparently talked to someone who'd been an extra, and described a scene they were in.

There was still one scene to film: the adult Pevensies.

Meanwhile in early April, Jim Broadbent described his role (Professor) in two sentences:

More clips of pictures were posted:

A media conference gave some new information, and talked about promotion of the film:

Narniaweb had already posted our own interview with Douglas Gresham:

In May, a number of articles appeared:

Douglas Gresham was interviewed in Working Mom magazine. He describes several aspects of making the film, and also answered questions from the interviewer's children about Prince Caspian - the next film to be made.

Even more importantly, the BBC announced the date for the release of the film:  9 December 2005. This was good news, as originally it was to have been 26 December.

A number of new books were announced, with Narnia or Middle-Earth connections:

And the new map of Narnia was released:

There, shining in the sunrise, larger than they had seen him before, shaking his mane (for it had apparently grown again) stood Aslan himself.
"...when a willing victim who had committed no treachery was killed in a traitor's stead, the Table would crack and Death itself would start working backwards."

In the next few months there were lots of small Narnia-related news items, but no major items.
One of the most looked-forward to was the "Music Inspired By Narnia" album, with songs by a number of Christian recording artists.  (I still have a copy, and some favourite tracks - have you got it?)

It was announced that the premiere in London would be a royal film performance!

Oh dear, I've got rather behind with this!

I'm catch up on my next day off...because 20 years ago the film was released!
