We have reasons to believe the upcoming adaptation of The Magician's Nephew will not be highly faithful to the original book.
"Now you are a lioness," said Aslan. "And now all Narnia will be renewed."

"Faithful" is the title of a memorable song by children's musician Colin Buchanan's song about 1 Thessalonians 5:24.

Who is your favorite musician?
I cannot listen to my favourite music when I don't have a good CD player anymore.
I do miss not having a reliable CD or cassette tape player.
To the future, to the past - anywhere provided it's together.
I do miss old high fantasy aesthetics.
The aesthetics of the 1950s setting of this new film of The Magician's Nephew will be quite different from the late Victorian setting of the original book.
"Now you are a lioness," said Aslan. "And now all Narnia will be renewed."

Victorian weather is often likened to four seasons in one day - it can seem very accurate!
*~JESUS is my REASON!~*
The weather in most of the UK is just as changeable as it was where I grew up in Victoria, so I feel very much at home!
(In case any non-Aussies here are baffled by Pete's post, we use "Victorian" as the adjective for anyone or anything from the state of Victoria (south-east Australia), as well as its usual-everywhere-else meaning of the era of Queen Victoria. Until I moved overseas, I didn't realise how funny it sounds in other countries if I call myself "a Victorian" as I've naturally done all my life! )
"Now you are a lioness," said Aslan. "And now all Narnia will be renewed."

I just played today's game of Wordle (from New York Times), and the word for today was a changeable one (depending on the context of the word), unfortunately however, I got wordled!
*~JESUS is my REASON!~*
My family and I have played Wordle together every day for the past few years — we live in different parts of the world, but post our results in our own WhatsApp group and compete to see who gets the word with the fewest guesses!
"Now you are a lioness," said Aslan. "And now all Narnia will be renewed."

Because of my husband's upcoming 90th birthday, his own family would like a celebration & get-together for him.
@courtenay Until I moved overseas, I didn't realise how funny it sounds in other countries if I call myself "a Victorian"
My husband liked to sail in to let his countrymen know that I came from a weird, hard to understand place called Australia. I never got so far as to be required to explain NSW.
I had a celebration today after I finally completed assembling a playground, with assistance - this project was 3 years in the making!
*~JESUS is my REASON!~*
I haven't forgotten how exciting it was when I was a kid and our local park in Inverloch got an all-new playground — swings, slides, tunnels, climbing frames, a flying fox and even a giant noughts and crosses game — all in brilliant shades of blue and yellow and hot magenta purple!
"Now you are a lioness," said Aslan. "And now all Narnia will be renewed."

Yesterday, we had an exciting day visiting the Sydney Tramway Museum at Loftus, where we saw the old electric trolley bus that used to travel between Rockdale, Kogarah & San Souci.
