The NarniaWeb community is a wonderful gathering of people from diverse backgrounds and experience with one major interest in common.

The friendly disposition of NarniaWebbers on these forums has warmed the hearts of many newbies to stick around and become regulars.

Last night's chilly weather forced us to hunt out the stored electric blankets which warmed last year's winter nights.

The atmosphere in the stadium was electric as the teams made their way out onto the field.

The atmosphere of walking around a candlelit Notre Dame cathedral was something truly special to behold.

Salisbury Cathedral has the tallest spire of any church in the UK!

Currently, the tallest building in the world is the Burj Khalifa, in Dubai.

I spent several days after my birthday building my own Lego Tuxedo Cat! Grin   (He doesn't eat much, doesn't need a litter tray, doesn't rack up vet bills and doesn't harm the local wildlife, so he's a very convenient pet to have.)

My sister-in-law's husband whittled a stern-looking wooden cat to be a stand for spectacles which he gave to us & which I call Scrimgeour, because I couldn't at first remember the word Scrimshaw, meaning the sorts of whittlings, carvings & artwork done by whalers and other sailors in days gone by.

Indeed, Scrimshaw is a rather unusual word to use! Giggle

These days, it is unusual to spend so much time at sea that developing hobbies, like Scrimshaw are worth anyone's while.

One of my favourite ways to spend time is playing board or card games with my family.
