Gympie, Queensland, called after the poisonous bristled gympie-gympie stinging tree so prevalent in that area. Once stung, the agony and inflammation will hang around for ages, another little Australian bush nasty that travellers need to be aware of.

North Melbourne, another suburb of, er, well, the obvious city, and also home to an AFL team (the Kangaroos).
