"Miley...Miley" he gasped crying holding onto her. "Your okay! They haven't cut your hair!?? They haven't hurt you...." he asked touching her long hair. "Were is Maralyn...Sara....Peter!" he whispered the names of his family in confusion.

The officer smacked the desk and stood. He grabbed a pair of hand cuffs and walked toward the door. "Will you boys show me where he is? I'll be much obliged"

Miley felt her own long hair to make sure it was still there. Relieved, she answered, "No, they haven't cut my hair. Peter is hanging out with Brian, probably shooting hoops or something. Maralyn is downstairs and Sarah hasn't been born yet." She shook her head. "Justin, you were having nightmares, weren't you?"

Peter stood up. "That's just it. We wouldn't know where he is. I mean, probably at Justin's or at Headquarters..."

He nodded then held her "Oh Miley...." he shook his head and began shaking. "Sarah....she ran from me....she didn't want me as a father. She cried and was scared of me" he sobbed into her shirt "they took you and cut you hair....they cut Peter's hair....they cut my hair!!" he said touching his head and was relieved to feel the thick strands still there.

"He's been wanted for attempted man slaughter! He may be dangerous we need to catch him" the chief said grabbing his hat "You'll ride in the squad with me boys. Hop in"

Peter joined Brian and the policeman into the squad car, determined to find that...that....MONSTER who was tormenting his cousin. "Maybe you can locate him on a satellite?"

Miley held her brother close, glad Justin's nightmare about her wasn't real. She kissed his teary cheek. "You're the best brother a girl could ever hope for, and I think Sarah will be lucky when she's born to have you as a dad, even if you had to go to prison."

"I'm afraid not...you said he may be at your cousin's house" THe police officer called into the radio for back up. "Just tell my the adress and we'll go"

"But what if she doesn't like me? What if she hates me for everything I've done...." he shook his head and looked at her. She was so much more innocent then he. He wished....he wished he could have lived his life more like her. He hugged her back then got up. "I'm going for a walk..." he said wiping his red face.

Chloe went to check on Maralyn. "How are you doing?" she asked her sister, hoping she was holding up. "Justin just had a nightmare. Miley's in there with him. I think he'll be all right," she hurried to assure Maralyn.

Peter told him and said he would help give directions. He prayed for his dear cousin's safety.

Miley sadly watched her brother walk out the house, praying his girl would still like him.

Peering form her book, Maralyn answered, "I just wish everyone would see he's changed."

While walking, Justin's stomach twisted in a knot at the thought of Sarah not liking him. What about when she finds out about the baby he and June got rid of? She will be scared, thinkign he was going to kill her. SHe would think he was a hateful dad.

Justin was so buried into his thoughts he didn't hear the hard determined steps walk up behind him. David reached up and clamped a hand on Justin's shoulder "Mr. Thomas.....you'll be coming with me now"

The officer sped toward Justin's, but still staid in the speed limit.

Brian patted Peter's shoulder "Justin will be okay Pete...you'll see. We'll get that guy"

Justin pushed free of David's grip and ran as hard as he could. He was so determined to not go to prison, tha the forgot this would only make things worse. He was going to run. For Sarah, for Maralyn, For Miley and for Peter. And for Johnny.

Peter looked ahead. "I sure hope so. He is not going to throw my cousin in prison." He turned to Brian. "But why is David doing this?"

"HEY!!!" he heard David call after him. He chased after JUstin running as well, with gritted teeth. "You come back here!" David reached into his coat pocket and pulled out a revovler. "Stop or i'll shoot!"

"I'm not sure....maybe justin did something to David but has forgot about it" He said with a shrug

Peter gasped, when he saw David about to shoot Justin. "No! Justin!" He turned to the police man, telling him to stop.

The chief slammed on the brake and Brian, Peter and the officer jumped out. The chief pulled his own gun and Peter went running toward Justin.

"PUT THE GUN DOWN!!!" The chief called.

David looked at him and growled. "NO!!! Not before I shoot him.." he pulled the trigger.

Justin had turned aorund, stunned at everything. Then, he heard the sound of the gun and felt himself be pulled away. Falling to the ground, he found himself practically on top of Peter. "Peter are you okay?"

Peter made a face and slipped out from under Justin "Justin hurry get up he's trying to shoot you!" Peter cried pulling at his cousins arm. "PLease come on!"

david was going to shoot again but the chief tackled him to the ground. They wrestled for the gun in his hands.

Justin looked and saw the cheif wrestling for the gun with David. He ran after his cousin. Then, he turned around and Brian was nowhere in sight. "What's going on? Where's Brian?"
