Abigal sighed. "I don't know. We'll....have to put it off again I guess" she said in a quiet voice. Tears began to well in her eyes.

Andrew rubbed her hand "Hey Abby....don't cry...everythings going to be okay now"

Justin turned to his wife tears running down his cheeks. He hugged her tightly, spilling all of his worries to her ears. "This can't be happening" he sobbed into her shoulder "I may be going back to jail.....i'm not going to see my beautiful baby girl be born. I may even miss the first few years of her life. My first child..." he cried "I'm not going to be able to see my family...Johnny, Peter, Miley.....they will cut my hair!" thinking of everything...all those things happening to him just made the tears spill.

Amanda grimaced, as she turned to hand her friend a box of tissues. Fortunately, she was able to get one out and hand it to Abigal.

Maralyn hugged her husband as the tears feel into her hair. She rubbed his back, which was shaking. She knew he regretted the time he and his ex-girlfriend got rid of their baby and was looking forward to having one live and breath with her. Just the two of them, holding their baby for the first tiem. How wouls she be without her dad? How would she explain to Sarah Rachel that her dad is in jail for past crimes. "Hey, hey. Johnny can still visit you. I will, but I will miss you so much." tears, His sobs tore into her heart, reminding her of when she first learned about the baby he and June had discarded. She stroked his dark hair, brushing his bangs off his forehead. Just when she was begining to love his hair too. She stroked it, feeling its warmth in her hands. It was thick, soft, so handsome. And it was still short, just not supershort. She loved how it hugged the back of his neck and sometimes flipped out at the back of his neck. "I will make sure our daughter knows you love her." He remembered one of their dates, where he protected her from a man who was trying to rob her or soemthing. How he protected her against someone from his past. She could hear him cry, "No!" He sounded as if someone had cut him from inside. "I love you, Justin. Please forgive me for how difficult I was when we were first married."

Miley had the keys to Justin's house and needed to know what was going on with her brother. She rang the doorbell, but no one answered. She turned to leave, when she could hear her brother's familiar cries from inside. Quickly, she thrust her key into the door and ran in. "Justin! Justin!" She texted Chloe to hurry to their siblings' home. Then, she made a mad dash upstairs, to see her brother sobbing endlessly in Maralyn's arms. She rushed to her brother's side, gently touching hsi shoulder, which seemed to fall with the weight of the world. "Justin, I've been so worried about you. WHat's wrong?"

Chloe received Miley's text message. She hadn't heard from Miley in a while. Chloe's life had been busy lately with schoolwork, homework, and babysitting to earn money. So it would be nice to see Miley. Chloe wondered why it was so urgent that she hurry over. Oh well. With a shrug, Chloe shoved her cell phone into her pocket, tugged on her sweater, crammed her feet into her sneakers, and went outside.

She decided to walk over to Justin and Maralyn's house. It wasn't that far away, just a coupe blocks. Once she arrived, she rang the doorbell.

Miley brushed a short, dark strand of hair behind her brother's ear, wanting to whisper into it to soothe him. Suddenly, the doorbell rang, and she rusehd to the door. Glad Chloe was there, she opened it." Chloe! It's awful. Something has upset my brother and I don't know what. Peter wouldn't tell me."

Chloe didn't know what was going on, until she could hear crying. "Oh no."

Justin couldn't say a thing. He couldn't form any words; for what was there to say? He saw his sister come and kneel near him, he felt her hands take a piece of his hair from his ear. He opened his mouth to say something to her but she left and he shook his head returing to rest his head on Maralyn's shoulder. "I can't go.." he whispered. "I can't leave..."

Abigal began crying once Amanda handed her the tissue. Andrew carressed her hand and whispered to her to comfort her. "It'll be alright Abby" he said kissing the top of her fingers. He stared at the engament ring that rested on one of her slim fingers.

Ian sighed his head resting still on his pillow. The DA had informend him this was the day of his trial. His hands were still bound together but the hand cuffs...and his hair was short. He bit his lip and sighed again in sadness. He hadn't even met his attorney.

Maralyn played with Justin's soft, warm thick hair some more, delighting in how comfy it made her hands. She ran her hand over his chest. It was pounding. She had already had breakfast, but her husband hadn't. "Want me to get you something to eat?"

Chloe suggested, "HOw about I take Maralyn soemwhere. THis can't be good for the baby."

Peter rushed to Brian's house. "Hey Kevin and Nate disappeared. Does this mean Justin's cases are closed agian?"

Brian considered the fact. "I don't think so Peter, they'll probably assign yet another agent to watch him" he said shaking his head. Him and Peter sat on the front steps of his house. Peter had told him everything that had happened to his favorite cousin.

Justin considered whether he was hungry or not. His stomach was in such knot's his heart beating in his chest so hard. His breathing was fast from his sobbing. He cleared his throat but it didn't help he felt more tears and closed his eyes hoping they would stop. "Sure" he said not just about to refuse her offer for something to eat. Maralyn ran her hands through his hair again then tried to smile at him before leaving to fix him something. Once she left, Justin curled up on his bed and placed the pillow over his head. From the back you could see his body begin shaking again as he cried some more

Miley nodded. "Yes you'd better. I want to talk to Justin"

Abigal cried then slowly stopped "I'm sorry I'm acting like a baby guys" she said wiping her eyes.

Amanda assured her friend, "You are not a baby. It's perfectly normal to be sad. I think the wedding should be this fall."

Chloe was about to go upstairs, when she saw her sister walk into the kitchen. Rushing to her sister's side, she asked, "Are you okay?"

Her brother's sobs sounded unending, as Miley made her way into Justin's room. Carefully opening the door, she was heart broken to see him curled up, with his head under the pillow and body shaking. She rushed to his side and rubbed his back. "Justin, what happened?"

Peter felt his world grow darker. "That means this person may treat Justin horribly. Is it even legal for them to do this?"

"Everything..." he mumbled what he had said to his wife "They've opened my case back up, I'm going to miss my daughter being born, I'm not going to be able to see my family, you, Peter, Johnny, Maralyn.....and i'm going back to Jail!" he cried and pulled the pillow down tighter over his head. He really didn't want his younger sister to see him mourning like this but he couldn't help it. He felt like the world was falling around him, and a huge chunk and crushed him. He remembered what he had said last week in to the youth about staying strong when things were hopeless. 'God will build you up if you'll only rely on Him!" he had said. With a small whimper he pushed his head into the covers. "I don't want to go back to Jail...." he said to his sister. "I already spent time...for what I did. They can't send me back now.......I don't want to go back"

Abigal blew her nose and cleared her throat. "Yes....autumn would be good. My Favorite seaon" she said squeezing Andrew's hand.

"Well." Brian said scratching his head. "My Dad's a lawyer, and from what he's said to me before. Yeah it is. If Justin's sentence was too light for his crimes he may have to go back for years. They may even blame him for avoiding the law."

Maralyn put a hand on her growing stomach. "I think so....but Justin isn't" she said shaking her head. She shook her head and sat on a chair in the kitchen with a tired sigh. She quietly thought about him and their baby.

Tears filled Miley's eyes. "That's awful!" She scooted closer to her brother, holding him with all her might. She felt his body grow limp. It was as if the strength left him. "What am I going to do without you? What's Peter going to do?" Justin had been Peter's better half for a year. He had been there to build Peter up in times of despair and Peter would not be able to do the same. What would his baby girl do without her dad? She reached under the pillow for his dark brown hair, which she had been glad to see grow out a little. "I would cry if they cut off your hair."

Peter shook his head, standing up. "We have to do something."

Chloe tried to put her money earning thoughts aside, and felt bad for her frustration from earlier. "What's wrong?"

"We can't Peter....I hate to say this but it's the law and we can't change the law" Brian responded. "This is bigger than us"

"They will.....when they take me back to jail. They'll cut it all off again" he said. Reaching up he caught Miley's hand and looked her straight in the eyes, salty drops of tears stil running down his own cheeks "Promise me Miley....you'll help take care of Maralyn...." he told her "I may be gone for years....without seeing her....or you or Peter....promise me when she has Sara Rachel....you'll help her"

Peter took a stick, tracing into the concrete. "WHat about double jeopardy? Where you can't be tried for the same crime twice?"

Miley burst into tears, running a hand through his hair. "Will you be as upset when they cut it off as Peter gets when his is cut off?" She didn't know why she asked that first. She had plenty other things to worry about. Her brother could get beaten, shot or stabbed.

"I don't know. My dad's a lawyer and that's what he said. I believe him...even though I really don't want Justin to go to jail. He seems to be really nice." Brian looked at Peter "How can we stop it??"

Justin's hand flopped to his side again, falling from her wrist. "No." he said. He rubbed his face with his hands, making his eyes and cheeks even redder "Miley please promise me you'll help take care of Maralyn..please" He looked at his younger sister. "Please Miley....I can't be here...."

Miley covered her mouth, holding back a sob. "I will. I could get Peter to help. But, Peter isn't you Justin. He can't run into a room, wihtout bum,ping into a wall. He's a great kid, but who will be there to protect me like you did. You protected me from bullies who made fun of me. You always had tha t gut instinct. Peter tries to protect people, then gets hit in the head with a brick or laughed at. "Who's going to be there for him?" SHe cried even harder. "I promise to tell Sarah that her daddy loves her and is the most godliest man I've ever known."

Chloe asked, "So you're making him breakfast?"

Peter stepped closer ot the door of Brian's house. "Research double Jeopardy law first."

Maralyn nodded to Chloe. She thought about Justin, the husband she loved going to jail. It brought tears to her eyes as she thought about him sitting in a jail cell, alone, hurting on the inside. She took a deep breath then let her head hit the table it resting on her arms. "I'm so worried about him Chloe. And our baby. What will she think when she grows up to have no father? How will I tell her...her fathers in jail and he doesn't deserve it" she said shaking her head. She knew she had to be strong for her husband but tears began stinging her eyes.

"Alright Peter. I got a computer inside" he said opening the door.

What they both didn't know was that just down the street a figure stood in a phone booth watching them, writing on a note pad in his hand. It was david. David quickly left the phone booth flipping out his cell phone calling HQ. "This is agent David 1534....yeah I got some poeple I want you to check."

Justin nodded. "Thank you Miley" his voice too choked up to say anything in a strong voice. "Peter will.....he'll....he'll just have to try. I wish I could be there for him Miley....I want to be there for all of you" he said through his teeth.

miley rubbed his arm. "I love you Justin, i'm going to miss you so much! I'll tell Sarah all about her dad....how great of a guy you are. And that she'll see you some day! I'll help Maralyn whenever she needs it. I promise I promise!" she burst out in a flow of tears.
