Justin tried with all his might to hold her in his arm. Turning to his siter, he said "Please get some cold water on a washcloth."
When Miley left to do that, Justin quickly called the doctor.

Jen looked on in alarm, suddenly realizing she was only fourteen. She rushed to Maralyn's side, trying to hold her up and grunted in pain.

Maralyn groaned holding a hand to her forehead. "Oh.....I don't know what's wrong with me......" she said. "Justin! Justin!" She moaned again "I don't feel well..."

He sat her down in a chair, when Miley handed him a damp washcloth. He put it over her forehead. "She's not feeling well," he said to the doctor.
Jen turned to Maralyn. "Got any ponytail holders? I could put it in a ponytail."

Maralyn nodded. "On the end table....over there..." she breathed out pointing weakly

The doctor on the other end said. "Keep her cool....i'll be right over." The doctor said

Jen reached for the ponytail holder, then braided Maralyn's beautiful, long hair. Then, she held onto the washcloth, while Justin was still on the phone. When he hung up, he said the doctor would be there soon.

Maralyn nodded, wearily. "Oh Justin...." she said taking his hand. "I hope it's not something wrong with the baby" she gasped.

Justin's heart broke at he rwords. With all of this stress over people trying to lock him back up, he wondered if it had finally taken his toll. He grit his teeth. "Did David hurt you or the baby when he came in?"

"No.....he only looked at me..." she said in a quiet constricted voice. "Once....while he was walking out he bumped me out of the way" she whimpered. "Justin...." He touched her fore-head and she had a burning fever. "It's too earlier for her too come...."

Justin's mouth opened wide. "He bumped you out of the way? If the baby is hurt, it will be his fault."

At that moment a doctor finally came in to check up on Maralyn. "How are you feeling?"

Maralyn looked up at him, her eyes slowly closing. Her fever was getting higher. "There is a sharp pain....in my chest." she said, squeezing Justin's hand and trying to talk loud enough for him to hear. "Please please help......please say nothing is wrong with out baby!"

Justin turned to the doctor, trying to muster up all strength he could. "If she needs to go to teh emergencey room, can I go with her?"
Miley and Chloe exchanged scraed glances, praying that the baby would be okay. Jen suggested, "I'll go find Peter if anyone can take me."
MIley said, "I'll drive you." CHloe followed the two of them, as they rushed to the hospital, to tell Peter what was happening.

Maralyn groaned again lying her head on the back of the chair. "Justin...." the few strands of loose hair that had escaped her braid stuck to her sweaty face. She put a hand on her stomach. "This is way to early....something's wrong..." she whimpered.

The doctor checked her pulse and vitals signs.

Peter saw Miley, Jen and Chloe rush in worried. "Girls, what's wrong?"
The three girls looked at each other, tension building up as he waited for an answer. Chloe blurted, "The baby! Maralyn is experienceing pains adn we don't know if it has to do with the baby!"
Peter's mouth opened wide. "Let's pray." The four of them prayed for the baby and for Maralyn and Justin.

Justin paced outside of Maralyn's room, wondering how they were doing. He opened the door. "Doctor, how are they?"

The doctor put up his hand signaling for Justin to wait. Maralyn had actually begun crying, and Justin could hear it. The doctor was feeling around on her stomach. He then checked her pulse again. Turning to Justin he said in a tight voice "I think you shoudl wait outside" he pushed him gently out and returned to the room with Maralyn.

Minutes past, Justin heard crying from Marlayn but nothing else. After twenty minutes the wait was killing him and just as he was about to go in the doctor came out. "She's sleeping right now....I don't know for how long though"

Justin felt himself sweating inside. "Anything wrong?"

When Brian's surgery was finally over, Peter went in teh room to see him. "Are you okay?"
