In my room with a good book, although I will eventually crave the companionship of my fellow humans. But it is good while it lasts

I love being alone outside going for a walk in my neighborhood on a warm, breezy day while listening to beautiful music on my iPod.

We have a park nearby and I just love to walk there and listen to music!

I like to walk in the woods by myself while it's raining. I also climb trees a lot to be alone. I have one specific tree that has a perfect place to sit and read without worrying about falling out ( ) so I spend a lot my of time alone there.

Hmm - original . . . my room. I love sitting there reading, especially in the hot afternoon, with the blinds down and a cool drink. Or writing, or just thinking.
When I'm writing, I often find myself talking without trying. I say the most ridiculous things! Sometimes I forget that my family is in the room, and they're like "What are you saying?!!" Its funny.
I like taking walks some, or swinging or just sitting on the grass.

I work at a horse farm and I'm alone there very often. It's surounded by trees and everything is so peaceful. That is by far my favorite place to be alone.

My room, curled up in bed with a book (Like Narnia.. I have always dreamed about finding a secret hideaway for myself when I was younger...well I still do lol.

I also go into book stores to be alone. I mean you're not really alone but normally I get so absorbed looking at the books that I feel alone. You can hide behind the shelfs and in corners

This may sound a bit odd, but, in the colder months, I really enjoy sitting on the floor of my bathroom with my back to the radiator (when it's putting out heat, that is; sitting by a cold radiator isn't any fun ). It's a nice place to read and I'm very warm.

I can be comfortably alone anywhere, really, as long as there's something comfy to sit on and I've got a book. My school's library is a pretty good place, though its collection of fantasy books is sadly a bit lacking (though they do have the Chronicles of Narnia; a library'd have to sink pretty low not to have those).

I stay in our school garden alone to just enjoy some inner peace.

Pyxis, I think the bathroom is a nice place to escape for awhile too! LOL, but I don't sit on the floor. Lolol.

Maybe I'll try it out next time.

I don't really have that many places to be alone, my room is the only place were I can read, watch TV, or just think. Every other place, there is going to be someone there. I wish I had somewhere calmer and much more unique to spend time by myself. It's a shame there isn't though.

The library is a nice place to hideaway also. My library has little compartments where you can be alone to read or study.

Pyxis: I do the same thing, the best thing about it is that I can lock people out. My room has a lock but sadly it is broken.

I wish I could go into Narnia to have a "little" hideaway. That would be the best!

I am generally a shy person and love to be alone. There's something special about silence, I guess I'm kinda weird, I prefer solitude (preferably in somewhere nature) to company

I wouldn't say your weird. I'd rather be alone then with people as well. There are very few people that I would like to spend time with instead of being alone. But seeing how I don't get much alone time anyways - I take the alone time when I can get it.

My favorite place to be alone... Basically anywhere... But as someone mentioned they like to be alone in crowds... I wouldn't like that. I mean I don't feel that counts as being "Alone". So favorite place to be alone would be when there are no people and or animals anywhere to be found. Just me.

When I'm alone I always turn on music... Or watch a movie.

I really like to be alone, I am a very shy person and don't do well in crowds... ...when I am alone I truly feel I can be myself.

Honestly I don't do well in crowds either. I never tend to be myself unless I'm completely alone - so I really enjoy being alone because then like you said I can be myself.

I really am only comfortable being myself when I'm alone.

For a few months I had put my computer in my closet - I really liked that because I could just shut the door to "Close off" the rest of the world.

For whatever reason my parents didn't like the computer being in the closet so made me move it out.

Nice thing about the closet to was it was very small. I mean I could fit the computer and a chair in there but that was about it.

So I guess my favorite place to be alone... Would be when the house is completely empty and I could sit in my closet with the door shut.
